Թուրքական ոստիկանությունը հերթական անգամ բիրտ ուժ է կիիրառել Ստամբուլում Սուրուչի ահաբեկչությունը դատապարտող ցույցը ցրելու համար: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ները, թուրքական իրավապահ մարմինները ցուցարարների նկատմամբ կիրառել են ռետինե փամփուշտներ, ջրցան մեքենաներ և արցո ւնքաբեր գազ: Ահաբեկչական գործողության հետևանքով զոհվածների հիշատակին անցկացված երթի մասնակիցները կրել են պաստառներ հետևյալ գրությամբ. «Մարդասպաններից երիտասարդներն են հաշիվ պահանջելու»:

Ոստիկանության միջամտությունից հետո ցուցարարների մի մասը ցրվել է, սակայն մյուս մասը կրկին վերադարձել է փողոց՝ այրելով մի քանի աղբաման: Ցուցարարների մի մասն արցունքաբեր գազից տուժել է:
