Սերբիայի ԱԳ նախարար, առաջին փոխնախագահ Իվիցա Դաչիչը նախագահական ընտրություններում կառաջադրի թեկնածությունը, եթե վարչապետ Ալեքսանդր Վուչիչը հրաժարվել մասնակցությունից: Ըստ ՏԱՍՍ-ի՝ այս մասին լրագրողներին հայտարարել է Դաչիչը:

ԱԳ նախարարը վստահ է, որ Վուչիչը կհաղթի դեռեւս ընտրությունների առաջին փուլում:

Եթե վարչապետը հրաժարվի նախագահի պաշտոնից, Դաչիչը չի սատարի գործող նախագահ Տոմիսլավ Նիկոլիչի թեկնածությունը եւ ինքը կառաջադրվի:

Դաչիչը Սերբիայի Սոցիալիստական կուսակցության առաջնորդն է: Նա վարչապետ Վուչիչին (Սերբական առաջադիմական կուսակցության առաջնորդ) կոչ է արել «ռացիոնալ որոշում կայացնել իշխող կոալիցիայից նախագահի թեկնածուի հարցում, որը կկարողանա հաղթել առաջին փուլում»:
