Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ իրենք նպատակ ունեն 10.000 տոննա հումանիտար օգնություն ուղարկել Մյանմայից (Բիրմա) Բանգլադեշ փախած ռոհինջա մահմեդականներին, այս մասին գրում է t24.com.tr կայքը:

«Եթե Բանգլադեշի իշխանություններն արտոնեն՝ կցանկանանք նաև աշխատել տեղի փախստականների ճամբարներում առավել բարվոք պայմաններ ստեղծելու համար՝ օգտագործելով ներգաղթյալների հետ աշխատելու մեր փորձը»,- ասել է Էրդողանը:

Նշենք, որ օրերս Թուրքիայի առաջին տիկին Էմինե Էրդողանը շտապ Բանգլադեշ է այցելել՝ Մյանմայից այստեղ փախած ռոհինջա մահմեդականների ճամբար այցելելու նպատակով:

Օգոստոսի վերջին Մյանմայի կառավարական ուժերը Ռակհայն նահանգում բնակվող ռոհինջա մուսուլմանների մեջ եղած իսլամիստ գրոհայինների դեմ ուղղված ռազմական օպերացիա են սկսել: Այդ գործողությունների հետևանքով զոհվել է մոտ 400 մարդ՝ 370 գրոհային, 15 մյանմացի զինվոր, 14 խաղաղ բնակիչ: Օգոստոսի 25-ից ի վեր մոտ 126.000 ռոհինջա է փախել Բանգլադեշ:

Ռակհայն նահանգում ռոհինջաների ու բուդդիզմ դավանող տեղացիների միջև կոնֆլիկտը շարունակվում է մի քանի տասնամյակ:
