Ամերիկյան Լոնգ Այլենդի ափերի մոտ գտնվող շքեղ մասնավոր կղզին, որն ունի ավելի քան 194.000 քմ մակերես, 125 մլն դոլարով վաճառքի է հանվել:

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, Դոսորիս Այլենդ կոչվող մասնավոր կղզին, որում 6 առանձնատուն կա, իր 100-ամյա պատմության մեջ վաճառքի է հանվում 3-րդ անգամ:

Կղզու առաջին առանձնատունն ունեցել է հայտնի ֆինանսիստ Ջ. Փ. Մորգանի թոռը, որը 1940-ական թվականներին իր հարուստ ընկերներին թույլ է տվել տներ կառուցել կղզում: Այդ կառույցներից շատերը քանդվել են կամ վերածվել հյուրանոցների:

Կղզու վաճառքով զբաղվող Sotheby's աճուրդի տան ներկայացուցիչ Բոնի Դևենդորֆը նշել է, որ սա բացառիկ առաջարկ է, քանի որ 125 մլն դոլար վճարելով՝ կարելի է ձեռք բերել առանձնատներով կղզի:

Հայտնի է, որ կղզու գլխավոր կառույցը Մորգանի՝ 1919թ. վիկտորիանական ոճով կառուցված առանձնատունն է, որտեղ քիչ բան է փոխվել ժամանակի ընթացքում:

Leafy: During the 1940s, Morgan allowed some of his wealthy friends to build their own homes on the island. He died in 1960, but the property remained in his wife's possession for several years

Perfect: The mansion (above) and 19 acres of grounds were sold in the 1970s to John Samuels, a Texas-born coal magnet. At the time, Samuels was hugely popular in the New York City social scene, but beginning in the 1980s, his businesses began to fail and by the 1990s he filed for bankruptcy

Historical: The property was auctioned off in 1993 to socialite and real estate broker Margo Walker. She purchased the lavish estate, which is now called 'Dosoris Island'. Pictured above is one of the sitting areas inside of the main house

Flawless: What's more exciting about this particular property is that the historic detail of the main house is still in tact after nearly 100 years
