Ելենա Կիրակոսյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.

Վերջին շրջանում իմ երկրի շուրջ, իմ շուրջ տեղի ունեցող իրադարձություններն ինձ բերեցին մի շատ պարզ, բայց ակնհայտ ճշմարտության։
 
Մենք անդադար մեղադրում ենք իշխանություններին՝ հներին, նորերին, ներկաներին, ապագաներին․․․․, բայց չենք մտածում, որ մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրն ունի իր մեղքի բաժինը և առաջին հերթին` ունեմ ես։ Իմ մեղքի բաժինը ընդունելով` ցանկանում եմ ձեզ հետ կիսվել դրվագներով, որոնց մոտ կամ նույնանման իրավիճակների, վստահաբար, հանդիպել եք շատերդ։
 
2020թ-ի արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ բոլորս հիշում ենք մեր ապրումները, հույզերը, մեր ցանկությունը` գոնե մի փոքր մեր արարքով օգնել, որպեսզի տղերքը զգան մեր աջակցությունը, թիկունքը, որպեսզի մենք անպայմանորեն ունենանք հաղթանակ։
 
Բայց նման մտածելակերպ և դրսևորումներ ունեցող մարդկանց կողքին ապրում էին մի զուգահեռ իրականությունում գտնվողներ, ովքեր ամեն ինչ անում էին, որպեսզի իրենց զավակները խուսափեն հայրենիքի առջև իրենց պարտքը տալուց։ Կային անձիք, ովքեր իրենց թույլ էին տալիս գրեթե ամենօրյա ռեժիմով բարձրաձայնել նման մտքեր․ «Ես պատրաստ եմ իմ որդուն տանիքից հրեմ, ցած նետեմ, ոտքը, ձեռքը կոտրվի, ոչինչ որ հաշմանդամ կդառնա, բայց պատերազմ չգնա»։ ԵՎ նման մարդիկ, բնականաբար, զարմանում էին նրա վրա, որ ես հպարտությամբ իմ ամուսնուն ճանապարհում էի պատերազմական գոտի:
 
Պատկերացնում եք չէ՞ իմ ապրումները և տարակուսանքը նման արտահայտություններ գրեթե ամեն օր լսելիս:
 
Այնուհետև պարզվում էր, որ նման մտքեր արտահայտողները իրենց որդիներին տանից հանում էին, որպեսզի որևէ պարագայում նրանք չստանան զորակոչման թերթիկները։ Իսկ իրենց տանն առհասարակ արգելում էին լույս վառելը, որպեսզի բոլորը մտածեն, որ տանը ոչ ոք չի բնակվում։
 
Ու հիմա, վերլուծելով այս ամենը, ես հասկանում եմ, որ միգուցե և լավ է, որ այդ տղաները ամեն կերպ շրջանցել են պատերազմին մասնակցելու փաստը, քանի որ նման դաստիարակություն, նման արժեհամակարգ ստացած որդին ի՞նչ պետք է անի, եթե չդավաճանի իր հայրենիքին, իր կողքին կանգնած ընկերոջը՝ իր ճղճիմ կյանքը փրկելու համար։
 
Եվ, այո, ես այսօր ընդունում եմ իմ մեղքի բաժինը, քանի որ ժամանակին չեմ բարձրաձայնել այս ամենը: Իսկ պատկերացրեք ինչ կլիներ, եթե մեզանից յուրքանչյուրը ժամանակին բարձրաձայնած լիներ նման ապազգային, հակապետական մտածելակերպի դրսևորումները։ Պատկերացրեք, թե որքան այլ կերպ կդասավորվեր մեր կյանքը:
