YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani leadership, blinded by hatred toward Armenians and drunken by the smell of oil, does not understand that strength is not in the number of tanks.
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan noted the above-said during Tuesday’s funeral—at Yerablur Military Pantheon in capital city of Yerevan—of scout and machine-gunner, contract soldier, Private Sasun Mkrtchyan, who had fallen during the recent hostilities along the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.
The President expressed condolences and words of support during the interment ceremony.
“Today, our thoughts are with the [Armenian] soldiers and officers who are standing at our border,” Sargsyan specifically noted in his remarks.
Sasun Mkrtchyan, 26, was from Yerevan, and he had signed up for voluntary military service about four years ago.
The Armenian military scout died while carrying out a military task, and dealing blow in reprisal to the adversary.
