«Интерфакс»-ը գրում է, որ գազի գնանկումը, որը սկսվել էր 2009-ից կարելի է համարել ավարտված և այժմ հերթը գնաճինն է: Գազի գներն սկսել են աճել, քանի որ կա ընդհանուր տարակուսելի մտայնություն, թե առճակատումը Ուկրաինայի ու Ռուսաստանի միջև հարցականի տակ կդնի Ռուսաստանից գազի մատակարարումը Եվրոպային: Ներկա իրադրության պայմաններում, Միացյալ Թագավորությունում գազը թանկացել է մեկ թերմը մինչև 42,65 փենսով (7,1 դոլար 1 մլն բրիտանական ջերմային միավորի դիմաց). Societe Generale-ի գնահատականներով IV եռամսյակում գազի գինը Լոնդոնում կթանկանա մինչև 64 փենսով: Օգոստոսի18-ին գազի մատակարարման գնային կանխատեսումը չորրորդ եռամսյակի համար մեկ թերմի դիմաց կազմել է 57,85 փենս: Եվրոպան անհանգստացած է հատկապես պաշտոնական Կիևի հակառուսական սանկցիաների ու մասնավորապես էներգառեսուրսների տարանցման արգելքի հետ կապված հայտարարություններով, որը Ուկրաինայի նախարարների կաբինետի ղեկավարի կարծիքով “վերջակետ կդնի” ռուսական գազից Ուկրաինայի կախվածությանը: Այդ հայտարարությունից շատ չանցած, արդեն օգոստոսի 11-ին Գերմանիան պաշտոնապես պահանջեց Կիևից հրաժարվել ռուսական գազի տարանցման արգելքի գաղափարից: “Պահպանվում է սակայն, գազի տարանցման ընդհատման վտանգը, որը ստեղծում է գազի գնաճի ռիսկ: Միևնույն ժամանակ, որևէ կասկած չկա, որ Եվրոպայում գազի պահպանման համակարգը այնքան էլ լավ վիճակում չի գտնվում: Ավելի անհանգստացնողն այն է, որ ցանկացած խախտումները հնարավոր են ձմեռային սեզոնին”,- մեջբերում է Bloomberg-ը Clean Energy Trading Ltd. ընկերության վաճառքի գծով տնօրեն Նիկա Իգլայի խոսքերը: Հուլիսին գազի գնանկում արձանագրվեց, քանի որ մեղմ ձմռանից հետո ԵՄ գազապահեստարաններում բավական մեծ քանակությամբ վառելիք էր մնացել: Այսօր սակայն, երբ այդ մնացորդն արդեն կարելի է համարել սպառված, Կիև-Մոսկվա լարված հարաբերությունների ֆոնին, վառելիքի գինը սկսել է աճել: Նման իրավիճակում ԵՄ-ն ստիպված է այլընտրանքներ որոնել, որպիսիք կարող են հանդիսանալ Նորվեգիայից էներգակիրների ներկրման կազմակերպումը: Ընթացիկ տարվա հունիսի 16 –ին, Մոսկվայի ժամանակով 10.00 –ին “Газпром”-ը մտցրեց կանխավճարային համակարգի գործողության ռեժիմը ու դադարեցրեց գազի մատակարարումը Ուկրաինային: Գազամուղով այս պահին հոսում է միայն դեպի Եվրոպա տարանցման համար նախատեսված գազի մատակարարման քանակությունը,185 մլն. խ. մետր օրական ծավալով: Այդ ընթացքում Ուկրաինան օգտագործելու է իր գազապահեստարաններում ամբարված գազը, որը, ինչպես Ուկրաինական “Нафтогаз”-ի փոխտնօրեն Ալեքսանդր Տոդիյչուկն է նշել, կբավականացնի Ուկրաինային մինչև նոյեմբեր, իսկ առավելագույն տնտեսման դեպքում էլ` մինչև տարեվերջ: Սակայն հարցն ավելի լուրջ բնույթ ունի: Ուկրաինական ճգնաժամը հարցականի տակ է դրել Ուկրաինայի` որպես հուսալի տարանցման ուղի լինելու հարցը, հատկապես որ Եվրոպան առանց ռուսական գազի մնաց տասներեք օր 2009-ին, երբ ձմռանը կրկին Ուկրաինայում առաջացած խնդիրների պատճառով ընդհատվեց մատակարարումը: Նույնիսկ արձանագրվեցին խողովակաշարից գազի գողության դեպքեր, սակայն Կիևը հերքեց իր մասնակցությունը այդ գողություններին, որոնք մնացին որպես չբացատրված ու չհիմնավորված կորուստներ: Փարիզյան բանկի վերլուծաբան Թյերրի Բրոսը նկատում է այս առթիվ իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում, որ որևէ ռեալ երաշխիք չկա, որ Ուկրաինան կրկին չի հրաժարվի իր գազատարանցման պայմանագրով նախատեսված պարտավորությունները կատարել, քանի որ այդ երկրում կա ձևավորված ավանդույթ` ոչ վճարել, ոչ էլ կատարել մյուս պարտավորությունները: “Իսկ այդ դեպքում ամեն բան կարող է վատ վերջանալ”,- ամփոփել է Բրոսը:
