Իմ կարծիքով Գյումրու դեպքը մանրամասն կազմակերպված սադրանք էր` հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունները սրելու միտումով: Նախ չեմ հավատում, որ մի հոգին կարող էր էդպիսի բան անել, հետո էլ հասնել Բայանդուր, ու 16-17 կմ-ի վրա մեկը չկանգնացներ ասեր` ո՞ւր: Ծրագրավորած էր սադրանքը, որովհետև հստակ նշաններ էր թողնված հանցանքի վայրում, որը անմիջապես սլաքներն ուղղում էր դեպի կոնկրետ տեղ, որպես թիրախ ընտրված էր հայ հասարակության ամենաֆունդամենտալ ինստիտուտը` ընտանիքը ու սպանությունը կատարվեց առանձնակի դաժանությամբ` չխնայելով անգամ երեխաներին, որը ավելի մեծ կրքեր կբորբոքեր:
Թե ում կողմից էր կազմակերպված, դեռ վաղ է դատողություններ անել, առավել ևս այն մարդկանց համար, ովքեր հեռու են սառը դատողությունից: Իրադրության սրացումը կարող է բերել կոլափսի, որից կօգտվեն միայն երրորդ ուժերը: Հայաստանում մայդանանման ցանկացած գործողություն անթույլատրելի է ու չի կարելի թույլ տալ, որ առիթի սպասող արտաքին ուժերի հայաստանյան խամաճիկները հասնեն իրենց ուզածին: Հայաստանի տնտեսական վիճակը ի վիճակի չէ ոչ մի մեծ ցնցման: Ներկայիս իրավիճակում Հայաստանը չպետք է տրվի ոչ մի արտաքին հոսանքի ազդեցության, դա լինի թե՛ արևմտամետ և թե՛ ռուսամետ: Պետք է հասարակությունը հասկանա ու գնահատի մի բան. Հայաստանում ռուսական ռազմաբազան փոխշահավետ համագործակցության արդյունք է ու ոչ թե մեր սիրուն աչքերի համար մեր ռուս եղբայրները եկել են մեզ պաշտպանելու: Սա Ռուսաստանի միակ ռազմական ներկայությունն է Անդրկովկասում, ու փայտով էլ ծեծես, Ռուսաստանը չի հեռանա Հայաստանից, սա միակ բազան է, որտեղից Մոսկվան մահակ կարող է թափ տալ մեր հարևան բոլոր պետությունների վրա, միևնույն ժամանակ այդ ռազմական ներկայությունը անհրաժեշտ է նաև Հայաստանին, որը ինչ որ չափով անվտանգության երաշխիքներ է ապահովում մեզ համար ու զսպաշապիկի դեր կատարում մեր ռազմատենչ հարևանների համար:
Այս պարագայում Հայաստանի միակ հույսը ադեկվատ ու սեփական ուժերի վրա հիմնված մոտեցումն է, հայտնվել ենք լարախաղացի կարգավիճակում, երբ ցանկացած քայլ, որը դուրս է գծից, կարող է բերել անդառնալի հետևանքների:
