Bloomberg-ում տպագրված հոդվածում քննարկվում է Ռուսաստանի ֆինանսական վիճակը`նշելով, որ Կրեմլի դեմ Միացյալ Նահանգների եւ այլ պետությունների կողմից ամիսներ տեւած ֆինանսական պայքարում ընդհամենը մի քանի ժամ է մնացել դրամատիկ դեֆոլտին:

«Կիրակի երեկոյան ավարտվում է լայնածավալ պատժամիջոցների հետեւանքով արգելափակված մոտ 100 միլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ պարտատոմսերի բաց թողնված վճարումների արտոնյալ շրջանը։ Պաշտոնական հայտարարություն չի լինի, եւ Ռուսաստանն արդեն վիճարկում է նշանակումը, սակայն եթե ներդրողները մինչեւ վերջնաժամկետը չստանան իրենց գումարները, երկուշաբթի առավոտյան, համաձայն պարտատոմսերի փաստաթղթերի, դեֆոլտ կլինի:

Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ առայժմ սա հիմնականում խորհրդանշական իրադարձություն է՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ Ռուսաստանն արդեն տնտեսական, ֆինանսական եւ քաղաքական առումով վտարված է աշխարհի շատ երկրներում։ Սա Ռուսաստանի համար կլինի առաջին արտաքին դեֆոլտն այն բանից հետո, երբ 1918 թվականին բոլշեւիկները հրաժարվել են ցարական ժամանակաշրջանի իրենց պարտքից: Այս տարվա սկզբում ՌԴ-ն կանգնած էր նման խնդրի առաջ եւ վերջին պահին, վճարման այլ եղանակների անցնելու շնորհիվ դեֆոլտ չի եղել, սակայն այս ճանապարհը փակվել է:

«Այժմ հարցն այն է, թե ինչ կլինի հետո, քանի որ շուկաները բախվում են վարկառուի եզակի դեֆոլտի սցենարի հետ, երբ այն պատրաստ է եւ ունի վճարելու ռեսուրսներ, սակայն չի կարող», - գրված է հոդվածում:

Հիմնական վարկանիշային գործակալությունները սովորաբար ստիպված են լինում դեֆոլտ անել, սակայն պատժամիջոցները թույլ չեն տալիս նրանց բիզնես անել Ռուսաստանում: Պարտատոմսատերերը կարող են միավորվել եւ անել իրենց սեփական հայտարարությունները, սակայն նրանք կարող են սպասել՝ հետեւելով Ուկրաինայում ընթացող պատերազմին եւ պատժամիջոցների մակարդակին՝ փորձելով պարզել՝ թե իրենց գումարները կամ գոնե դրանց մի մասը հետ ստանալու ինչ շանսեր կան:
