Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները (ԱՄՆ) կողմ է Հայաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ հաշտության հաստատմանն ու այս հարցում ողջունում են Հայաստանի նախաձեռնությունն ու պաշտոնական հրավերը Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանին' 2015թ. ապրիլի 24-ին այցելելու Երեւան եւ Ծիծեռնակաբերդում ոգեկոչելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին նշեց Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Ջոն Հեֆերնը:

«Միացյալ Նահանգները եռանդագին պաշտպանում է Հայաստանի ու Թուրքիայի հաշտեցման ջանքերը: Այս առումով մենք ողջունում ենք Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի կողմից ձեռնարկված բոլոր այն քայլերը, որոնք ուղղված են փաստերի լիակատար, շիտակ ու արդարացի ճանաչմանը»,- ասաց դեսպանը:

Հայաստանի այս քայլը ողջունել է նաեւ Ֆրանսիան: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ՀՀ-ում Ֆրանսիայի արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Անրի Ռենոն ասել է, որ Ֆրանսիան ողջունում է ցանկացած նախաձեռնություն, որը կնպաստի Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի մերձեցմանն ու երկխոսությանը' ի նպաստ երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման»:

Օգոստոսի 28-ին Անկարայում կայացած Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի երդմնակալությանը ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը Թուրքիայի նախագահին է փոխանցել 2015թ. ապրիլի 24-ին Երևան այցելելու Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրավերը:
