Նյուպորտում Սարգսյան-Քերի-Ալիև հանդիպման ընթացքում արձանագրվել է մի շարք կարևոր փաստեր: Այս մասին ՀՀԿ խորհրդի նիստի ավարտից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում տեղեկացրեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, ՀՀԿ խոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Առաջին փաստն այն է, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորումն այլընտրանք չունի: Արձանագրվել է, որ հակամարտությունը պետք է լուծվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Եվ կարող ենք ասել , որ սա հստակ մեսիջ էր՝ ուղղված բռնատիրական Ադրբեջանին և նրա հովանավոր Թուրքիային»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Շարմազանովը:
Երկրորդ կարևոր փաստը, որն արձանագրվել է հանդիպման ընթացքում այն հանգամանքն է, որ Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափը որևէ փոփոխության ենթակա չէ: «Սա նույնպես հստակ մեսիջ էր Ադրբեջանին և նրա բարեկամ ու շահերի պաշտպան Թուրքիային, որոնք փորձում են հասնել Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափի փոփոխությանը: Սակայն վերջին եռակողմ հանդիպման ընթացքում արձանագրվեց, որ այդ ձևաչափը որևէ փոփոխության ենթակա չէ»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:
Շարմազանովն ընդգծեց, որ ընդհանուր առմամբ կարելի է արձանագրել, որ Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի նպատակներն իրականություն չդարձան: «Իհարկե, ես այն կարծիքին չեմ, որ Նյուպորտում ընդունված հռչակագիրը մեզ համար ամբողջությամբ ընդունելի է, քանի որ այնտեղ կան կետեր, որոնք չեն բխում մեր շահերից և իրականության հետ կապ չունեն, սակայն եթե այն համեմատենք նախորդ տարվա հռչակագրի հետ, կտենսնեք, որ այս հռչակագրում բացակայում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտություն տերմինը, հղում է կատարվում ՄԱԿ-ի կանոնադրության և Հելսինկյան եզրափակիչ ակտի վրա, ինչպես նաև հռչակագրում ևս նշվում է խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման անհրաժեշտության մասին»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը՝ ընդգծելով, որ ադրբեջանա-թուրքական գործարքը չիրականացավ և նրանց ցանկությունը՝ փոխել ձևաչափը, ճնշում գործադրել խաղաղ բանացությունների վրա, շարունակել ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությունը իրականություն չդարձան:
Միևնույն ժամանակ Շարմազանովը կարևորեց նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի ընթացքում իր ելույթում այդ բարձր ամբիոնից Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարին անվանեց բռնապետ, նրա երկիրը բռնապետություն, իսկ Թուրքիային՝ Ադրբեջանի շահերի պաշտպան: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ սա էլ շատ կարևոր էր, որովհետև դա արվեց բոլորի ներկայությամբ»,- եզրափակեց Շարմազանովը:
Նյուպորտում սեպտեմբերի 4-ին կայացել է Հայաստանի Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի, Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի և ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիի եռակողմ հանդիպումը: Հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել ամերիկյան կողմի նախաձեռնությամբ: Քննարկվել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման գործընթացի ներկա փուլին և հեռանկարին վերաբերող հարցեր: Կողմերը ներկայացրել են իրենց երկրների դիրքորոշումները բանակցային գործընթացում: Պետքարտուղար Քերին իր խոսքում ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծել է հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման այլընտրանքի բացակայությունը, իրավիճակի լա րման բացառումը և կոչ է արել գտնել մեխանիզմներ՝ հակամարտության լարման թուլացման և կողմերի միջև վստահության միջոցների ամրապնդման համար: Ջոն Քերին կարևորել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափով բանակցությունների շարունակումը և իր պատրաստակամությունը հայտնել հնարավորինս աջակցելու հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման ուղիների որոնմանը: ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը միաժամանակ ընդգծել է, որ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը հասնելու գործում չափազանց կարևոր է կողմերի քաղաքական կամքը:
