Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի և Ազգային ժողովի, Ֆրանսիա-Ղարաբաղ բարեկամության շրջանակի մի խումբ անդամներ սեպտեմբերի 8-ին ժամանել են Արցախ: Պատվիրակության կազմում են սենատորներ Ալեն Ներին և Ժան Բիզեն, պատգամավոր Ժան Մարկ Ժերմենը և նախկին պատգամավոր Ժակ Ռեմիլյեն: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի մամուլի ծառայությունից, ֆրանսիացի օրենսդիրներին Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանում դիմավորել են Ազգային ժողովի Արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Վահրամ Աթանեսյանը և ԼՂՀ ԱԳՆ արարողակարգի աշխատակիցները: Ֆրանսիացի խորհրդարանականները ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովում հանդիպել են օրենսդիր ու գործադիր իշխանությունների, ինչպես նաև հանրային-քաղաքական և գիտակրթական ոլորտների ներկայացուցիչների հետ:
Ողջունելով հանդիպման մասնակիցներին՝ Արցախի խորհրդարանի նախագահ Աշոտ Ղուլյանը կարևորել է ֆրանսիացի օրենսդիրների այցը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ, որը վկայում է Ֆրանսիայի ու նրա ժողովրդի՝ ազատության, հավասարության և եղբայրության սկզբունքներին անշեղ հավատարմության մասին: Ազգային ժողովի նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ Արցախի ազատ ու ժողովրդավարական Հանրապետության ձեռքբերումները բաց են ամբողջ աշխարհի համար, և այս համատեքստում կարևոր են միջազգային, այդ թվում՝ եվրոպական կառույցներում, պետական կառավարման ազգային մարմիններում գործող, ԼՂՀ ու նրա ժողովրդի ճակատագրի հանդեպ հետաքրքրություն ունեցող քաղաքական գործիչների, օրենսդիրների կողմից ազատ ու անկախ ապրելու իրավունքի ընկալումը և բարոյական աջակցությունը: Աշոտ Ղուլյանն կարևորել է նաև Ֆրանսիայի՝ որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրի միջնորդական առաքելությունն Ադրբեջանի հետ բանակցություններում:
Ֆրանսիացի խորհրդարանականների պատվիրակության ղեկավար, սենատոր Ալեն Ների խոսքերով, այցը բարեկամական բնույթ է կրում, որի ընթացքում կուսումնասիրվեն հետագա համագործակցության ուղղությունները։ Սենատոր Ներիի համոզմամբ` ադրբեջանա-ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման ժամանակ պետք է հաշվի առնվեն ազատության, ժողովրդավարության սկզբունքները և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի կարծիքը։ Ֆրանսիա-Ղարաբաղ բարեկամության շրջանակի անդամ Ժակ Ռեմիլյեի խոսքերով, Արցախ կատարած իր յուրաքանչյուր այցի ժամանակ նրան զարմացնում են կատարված փոփոխությունները: Նախկին պատգամավորը նաև ընդգծել է, որ իր համար մեծ նշանակություն ունի խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորումը և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի
