Սեպտեմբերի 13-ին ՀՀ ՊՆ վարչական համալիրում պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի ղեկավարությամբ տեղի ունեցավ խորհրդակցություն, որին մասնակցում էին պաշտպանության նախարարի և ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետի տեղակալները, ՊՆ, ԶՈւ և ԶՈւ ԳՇ վարչությունների ու առանձին բաժինների պետերը: Հեռահաղորդակցության միջոցների և տեսակապի շնորհիվ խորհրդակցությանը ներգրավված էր նաև բանակային զորամիավորումների հրամկազմը:

Խորհրդակցությունը նվիրված էր ՀՀ անկախության հռչակման 23-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ անցկացվելիք հանդիսավոր միջոցառումների կազմակերպմանը, պաշտպանության նախարարին կից կոլեգիաների առաջիկա նիստերի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներին:

Կարևորելով երիտասարդության շրջանում ազգային գաղափարախոսության և հայրենասիրության սերմանումը' Սեյրան Օհանյանը նշեց, որ այդ գործընթացում ազգային բանակը պետք է առանցքային դերակատարում ունենա: Ըստ այդմ, նախարարը հանձնարարեց, որ զորամասերում ՀՀ անկախության տարեդարձի առթիվ անցկացվելիք տոնական միջոցառումներին ներգրավվեն նաև հասարակության լայն շերտերը: Ընդգծելով, որ ազգային բանակի հենքն ի վերջո հասարակությունն է, Սեյրան Օհանյանն արձանագրեց, որ այս առումով բանակ-հասարակություն կենսական կապի հետագա ամրապնդումն ուղղակի խիստ անհրաժեշտություն է: Նախարարը հորդորեց նաև, որ վերոհիշյալ կապը պետք է օգտագործել հասարակության շրջանում ազգային ավանդույթների շարունակության ապահովման, մնայուն արժեքների արմատավորման, արատավոր բարքերի դեմ տարվող պայքարը հաղթական ավարտին հասցնելու համար:

Խորհրդակցության ընթացքում պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն անդրադարձավ նաև կարգապահական բնույթի խնդիրներին: Օրերս ՊՆ զորամասերից մեկում զինվորի մահվան ելքով գործի քննության կապակցությամբ պաշտպանության նախարարը շեշտեց, որ անկախ նրանից, թե ինչն է դրդել զինվորին ինքնասպանության, զորամասի ղեկավարության պատասխանատվության չափը դրանից ոչ մի կերպ չի նվազելու և ծառայողական քննության ավարտից հետո օրենքի ամբողջ խստությամբ պատժվելու են բոլոր մեղավորները: Նմանաբնույթ դեպքերը հետագայում բացառելու նպատակով Սեյրան Օհանյանը խորհրդակցության ավարտին մասնակիցներին տվեց կոնկրետ հանձնարարականներ և ցուցումներ:
