Թուրքիան էժան նավթ է գնում Իրաքի և Սիրիայի հյուսիային զավթած տարածքներում «Իսլամանական պետություն» հռչակած «Իրաքի և Լևանտի իսլամանակ պետություն» (ԻԼԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորումից, որը Իրաքում և Սիրիայում իր կողմից վերահսկվող նավթահորերից արդյունահանվող նավթի վաճառքից օրական 3 մլն դոլար է ստանում: Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է The Telegraph- ը:
Փորձագետների տվյալներով' ԻԼԻՊ-ը նավթը վաճառում է նվազագույն գնով' մեկ բարելի դիմաց 25 դոլարով: Նավթային գործարքների կենտրոնը Թուզ-Հուրմաթու քաղաքն է, որը գտնվում է իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի հետ սահմանում:
Իրաքի նավթային արդյունաբերության գծով մասնագետ Շվան Զուլալը հայտարարել է, որ իսլամիստ ահաբեկիչները վերահսկում են Բայջի քաղաքում գտնվող խոշորագույն նավթավերամշակման գործարանը և Քիրքուկից դեպի թուրքական Ջեյհան նավահանգիստ գնացող նավթատար խողովակաշարը: Ներկայումս ԻԼԻՊ-ը Սիրիայի և Իրաքի տարածքում վերահսկում է 11 նավթային հանքահորեր, որոնցում արդյունահանվող նավթը բեռնատարներով հասցվում է Թուրքիայի, Հորդանանի և Իրաքի սև շուկաներ: Իսլամիստ ահաբեկիչների կողմից մատակարարվող նավթի գինը մեկ բարելի դիմաց տատանվում է 25-60 դոլարի սահմաններում, այն դեպքում, երբ նավթի շուկայական գինը մեկ բարելի դիմաց գերազանցում 100 դոլարը:
Թերթը հայտնում է, որ ԻԼԻՊ-ը զգալի եկամուտներ է «վաստակում» նաև թալանի, մարդկանց առևտրի և փրկագին ստանալու նպատակով պատանդների առևանգման միջոցով:
ԻԼԻՊ-ը հունիսի 29-ին հայտարարել է Իրաքի և Սիրիայի իր կողմից վերահսկվող տարածքներում իսլամական խալիֆայություն ստեղծելու մասին: Խալիֆ է հայտարարվել ահաբեկիչների առաջնորդ Աբդալա Իբրահիմ աս-Սամարաին, ով հայտնի է նաև որպես Աբու Բաքր ալ-Բաղդադի: Խմբավորումն անունը փոխել է «Իսլամական պետություն»: Ինքնահռչակ խալիֆայության սահմանները ներկայումս ձգվում են սիրիական Հալեպ քաղաքից մինչև Իրաքի արևելքում գտնվող Դիալա քաղաք
Իրաքի իշխանությունները դիմել են միջազգային հանրությանը' օգնել դիմակայել ԻԼԻՊ-ին: ԱՄՆ-ը և այլ երկրներ Բաղդադին ռազմական օգնություն են ցուցաբերում: ՄԱԿ-ը ԻԼԻՊ-ի կողմից անցկացվող էթնիկ և կրոնական զտումներն անվանել է մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություն:
