ՄԱԿ-ի Նյու Յորքի կենտրոնակայանում սեպտեմբերի 16-ին աշխատանքն է սկսում Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 69-րդ նստաշրջանը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, բացման պաշտոնական արարողությունը կկայանա տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 15:00-ին (Երևանի ժամանակով՝ ժամը 23:00-ին), երբ աշխատանքի տարեկան շրջափուլի մեկնարկը կտան ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունը և ուգանդացի դիվանագետ Սեմ Կուտեսան, որը հունիսին ընտրվել է ԳԱ-ի 69-րդ նստաշրջանի նախագահ: Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ներկայիս 68-րդ նստաշրջանն աշխատանքը կավարտի առաջիկա ժամերին: Նոր նստաշրջանի աշխատանքի առավել կարևոր ու հագեցած փուլը կսկսվի արդեն հաջորդ շաբաթ. սեպտեմբերի 23-ին Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի շրջանակներում տեղի կունենա կլիմային նվիրված մեկօրյա գագթնաժողովը, որը հրավիրվում է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի կողմից: Հաջորդ օրը համաշխարհային կազմակերպության կենտրոնակայանում կբացվեն ամենամյա ընդհանուր քաղաքական բանավեճերը, որոնց կմասնակցեն ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ բոլոր 193 անդամները, ինչպես նաև Պաղեստինը, որը 2012 թվականից դիտորդ պետության կարգավիճակ ունի ՄԱԿ-ում: Հիմնականում պատվիրակությունները ներկայացված կլինեն պետությունների, կառավարությունների և ԱԳ նախարարությունների ղեկավարների մակարդակով: Առանձնակի ուշադրություն կգրավի նստաշրջանի առաջին և երկրորդ օրվա աշխատանքը: Սեպտեմբերի 24-ին Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ամբիոնից երկրներին կդիմի ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման: Հաջորդ օրը պլանավորված է Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Պյոտր Պորոշենկոյի ելույթը, հաղորդել է ԻՏԱՌ-ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
