Արարատի մարզի սահմանամերձ համայնքներում առկա են 2000 հա գյուղմթերքների մշակման համար ենթակա հողատարածքներ, որոնք գտնվում են սահմանապահների հսկողության ներքո: Մարզի Արաքսավան, Բերքանուշ, Բուրաստան, Երասխ, Նոյակերտ, Եղեգնավան և մի քանի այլ համայնքների գյուղացիներն իրենց իսկ հողամասերում աշխատում են միայն հատուկ մուտքի փաստաթղթի առկայության պարագայում: Հիշյալ փաստաթուղթը տրամադրվում է սահմանապահ զորամասի կողմից' տվյալ համայնքի ղեկավարի կնիքով, որի վրա առկա են նաև ՀՀ ոստիկանության և ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության աշխատակիցների ստորագրությունները: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց մարզպետի խորհրդական Ալբերտ Յակուբովը, վերջերս Արարատի մարզպետ Ռուբիկ Աբրահամյանի անմիջական մասնակցությամբ համաձայնություն է ձեռք բերվել ՌԴ Արտաշատի սահմանապահ զորամասի հրամանատար Վիլսուր Զյանչուրինի հետ, ինչի շնորհիվ հեշտացվել է հողամասում աճեցված գյուղմթերքների տեղափոխման հարցը. գնորդը հնարավորու թյուն ունի առանց փաստաթղթի առկայության, միայն անձնագրով, մասնակցել մեծ քանակությամբ մթերքների գնման և տեղափոխման ընթացքին:

Յակուբովը նշեց, որ ՌԴ Արտաշատի սահմանապահ զորամասի և մարզի ղեկավարությունը մշտապես կապի մեջ են. նրանք միշտ նշում են Հակաստանի պետական տոները, մասնակցում են մարզկենտրոնում կազմակերպված մեծամասշտաբ միջոցառումներին. անկախության տոնակատարությանը, Մայիսի 9-ի շքերթին, ապրիլի 24-ի երթին, և այլն: Իսկ նրանց միջոցառումներին և տոնակատարություններին փոխադարձաբար հրավիրվում են մարզպետարանի աշխատակիցները: Յակուբովն ընդգծեց, որ բացի պաշտոնական հարաբերություններից, հայ ընտանիքների հետ ևս պահպանվում է բարիդրացիական շփումը: Արտաշատում գործու մ է ՌԴ պետական դպրոց, այնտեղ են հաճախում զինվորականների երեխաները, դասավանդում կանայք:

Անդրադառնալով սահմանապահ-գյուղացի հարաբարություններին' Յակուբովը նշեց, որ դրանք բարեկամական, բարի կամքի դրսևորման և փոխօգնության հարթության վրա են: Գյուղացիները նրանց հետ ունեն լավ հարաբերություններ, շատ հաճախ նաև օգնում են սահմանապահներին: Դրա վառ ապացույցն է նաև այն, որ բոլորովին վերջերս' սեպտեմբերի 7-ին Արարատի մարզի Արարատ գյուղի բնակիչներ Կարո Դավթյանը և Ռաֆիկ Պետրոսյանը, խոտհարքի ժամանակ Սուրենավան և Արարատ գյուղերի սահմանամերձ տարածքում ձերբակալել են Աֆղանստանի քաղաքացի, 1988 թվականին ծնված Ֆարիդ Սատարային և հանձնել ուղեկալի հրամանատարական կազմին:
