Ռուսաստանի 2.5 միլիոնանոց հայ համայնքը մտահոգված է հայ բարերար Լևոն Հայրապետյանի ձերբակալման հանգամանքով: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյանը: «Պետք է համբերություն ունենալ, և ամեն ինչ կպարզվի, ու Լևոն Հայրապետյանն անպայման դուրս կգա: Մենք բոլորս՝ երկուսուկես միլիոն հայություն Ռուսաստանում, մտահոգված է այդ խնդրով»,- «Արմենպրես»- ի հաղորդմամբ՝ շեշտեց Աբրահամյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ իրենք այդ հարցում համագործակցում են Հայաստանի հետ: Աբրահամյանը նկատեց, որ Լևոն Հայրապետյանի խնդիրն իր համար շատ կարևոր է: «Պիտի փորձենք օգտակար լինել: Հայրապետյանը բազմաթիվ բարեգործություններ է իրականացրել Հայաստանում, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում: Հիմա ժամանակն է, որ մենք մեր խոսքն ասենք: Ռուսաստանի ողջ հայությունն ուզում է մեկ բան՝ որ նա ազատության մեջ լինի մինչև դատավարության ավարտը»,- նշեց Աբրահամյանը:

ՌՀՄ նախագահը նաև կարծիք հայտնեց, որ Լևոն Հայրապետյանը որևէ բանում մեղավոր չէ, և նրան հարկավոր է ազատ արձակել, ինչին էլ ուղղված են բոլոր ջանքերը:

Հայազգի գործարար Լևոն Հայրապետյանին ձերբակալել են Սերգեյ Ֆինասգինի ղեկավարած «Կինգիսեպի» հանցախմբի գործի շրջանակում: Ըստ նախաքննության՝ հանցագործությունն իրականացվել է 2008-ին «ԱՖԿ Սիստեմա»-ին «Բաշնեֆթ»-ի վաճառքի գործարքի ժամանակ, որում ենթադրվում է, որ ներգրավված է եղել նաև Հայրապետյանը: Հայրապետյանն այդ գործարքից իբր խոշոր չափի գումար է ստացել: Վերոնշյալ մեղադրանքները Հայրապետյանը չի ընդունում, իսկ նրա փաստաբանն արդեն բողոքարկել է դրանք: Հուլիսի 24-ին դատարանը պաշտոնական մեղադրանք է առաջադրել Հայրապետյանին: Ռուսաստանում գործող մի շարք հայկական կազմակերպություններ, ՀՀ պետական և հասարակական գործիչներ իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել գործարարին:
