Սեպտեմբերի 20-ին «Հայաստան-Սփյուռք» համահայկական հինգերորդ համաժողովը շարունակեց իր աշխատանքները չորս թեմատիկ նիստերով:
Սիրիահայ համայնքի հիմնախնդիրներին նվիրված թեմատիկ երկրորդ նիստում քննարկվեցին պատերազմի հետեւանքով Լիբանան եւ Հայաստան տեղափոխված սիրիահայերի հիմնախնդիրները, Հայաստանում պետական պատկան մարմինների, ինչպես նաեւ համահայկական ու բարեգործական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները ներկայացրին Հայաստանում սիրիահայերի աջակցության ծրագրերը, վերհանվեցին հիմնական խնդիրներն ու դրանց լուծման հնարավոր մեխանիզմները:
Անդրադարձան նաեւ վտանգված այլ համայնքների՝ Իրաքի, Եգիպտոսի հիմնախնդիրներին: Նիստավար Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության Բերիո Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ, բարձրաշնորհ տեր Շահան արքեպիսկոպոս Սարգիսյանը նիստը սկսեց Տերունական աղոթքով:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարությանը համաժողովը կազմակերպելու համար՝ Կահիրեի թեմական ժողովի անդամ, ՀՅԴ անդամ, «Լուսաբեր» մշակութային ընկերակցության ատենապետ Սուրեն Բայրամյանը ներկայացրեց «Իրավիճակը Եգիպտոսում»: Զուգահեռներ անցկացնելով սիրիական դեպքերի հետ՝ զեկուցողը մասնավորապես նշեց, որ քաղաքական զարգացումների պատճատով այսօր համայնքի կարեւորագույն մտահոգությունը անորոշությունն է: Եգիպտոսի 45-50 հազարանոց համայնքից 5 հազար մարդ է մնացել:
Իրաքահայ հասարակական գործիչ Պարույր Հակոբյանը ներկայացրեց իրավիճակը Իրաքում, որտեղ մնացել է ընդամենը 10 հազար մարդ, հիմնականում Բաղդադ եւ Բասրա քաղաքներում: Նշելով հոգեւոր եւ համահայկական կառույցների, հայոց պետության աջակցության մասին՝ զեկուցողը մասնավորապես նշեց. «Միասնաբար պետք է մտածենք, թե ինչպես կարելի է ապահովել Միջին Արեւելքի համայնքներից արտագաղթածների հայ մնալը:
«Հալեպ» հասարակական կազմակերպության գործունեությունը ներկայացրեց Ծովիկ Մակարյան-Բայթարյանը: Կազմակերպությունը Հայաստանում գրանցվել է մեկ տարի առաջ, եւ նպատակն է նյութաբարոյական աջակցություն ցուցաբերել սիրիահայերին, բնակարաններ տրամադրել եւ կասեցնել Հայաստանից սիրիահայերի արտագաղթը, որ Սիրիայում խաղաղություն հաստատվելուց հետո կարողանան վերադառնալ Սիրիա եւ մասնակցել համայնքի վերակառուցմանը:
Հայաստանում բնակվող սիրիահայերի աջակցության նպատակով իրականացված աշխատանքների վերաբերյալ զեկուցումով հանդես եկավ «Սիրիահայերի հիմնախնդիրները համակարգող կենտրոն» հասարակական կազմակերպության նախագահ Լենա Հալաճյանը: Զեկուցողը կարեւորեց սիրիահայերի համար կառուցվող «Նոր Հալեպ» թաղամասի կառուցումը:
Սկսելով քննարկումը եւ մտքերի փոխանակությունը՝ նիստավար Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության Բերիո Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ, բարձրաշնորհ տեր Շահան արքեպիսկոպոս Սարգիսյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց բոլոր կազմակերպություններին, կառույցներին ու անհատ բարերարներին, եւ մասնավորապես նշեց. «Այսօր ամենակարեւոր երեւույթը միասնականությունն է: Պետք է նոր մոտեցումով մարմին ստեղծել, որի նպատակը սիրիահայերի գոյատեւումն է Հայաստանում եւ այլ երկրներում:
Քննարկման արդյունքում նիստի մասնակիցները առաջարկեցին ստեղծել Ազգային մարմին՝ ՀՀ պետական պաշտոնյաների, հոգեւոր կառույցների, համահայկական կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարների մասնակցությամբ, որը կաջակցի քաղաքական անկայուն իրավիճակներում գտնվող երկրների հայ համայնքներին, կորոշի առաջնահերթությունները եւ կմշակի արագ արձագանքման ռազմավարությունն ու կիրականացնի կազմակերպչական աշխատանքները:
