«Կովկաս» ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, քաղաքագետ Ալեքսանդր Իսկանդարյանը չի բացառում, որ ոʹչ հոկտեմբերի 10-ին, ոʹչ էլ 2015թ. հունվարի 1-ին Հայաստանի ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցության համաձայնագիրը ստորագրված չի լինի: Միաժամանակ, նա վստահ է, որ ՀՀ-ի և ԵՏՄ-ի միջև փաստաթուղթ ստորագրելու հավանականությանը 50 տոկոսից ավելին է:

Քաղաքագետը պարզապես խորհուրդ է տալիս համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը չկապել ինչ-որ ժամկետների հետ: Ըստ նրա, գոյություն ունեն խնդիրներ, որոնք, սակայն, այնքան ահռելի չեն, որպեսզի կարողանան խոչընդոտել համաձայնագրի ստորագրմանը:

«Այդ հակասությունները հաճախ արտացոլվում են հայտարարությունների տեսքով եւ շատ ավելի հաճախ հայտնվում մամուլում: Սա նույնպես նորմալ է, քանի որ յուրաքանչյուր միություն ստեղծելիս առաջ են գալիս հակասություններ, որոնք հետագայում շտկվում են: Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանին, հոկտեմբերի 10-ին ինչ-որ փաստաթուղթ կարող է ստորագրվի, բայց ես չէի բացառի, թե հնարավոր է, որ ոչ այդ օրը, ոչ էլ հունվարի մեկին համաձայնագիրը այդպես էլ ստորագրված դեռ չլինի»,- ասաց Իսկանդարյանը:

Անդրադառնալով Մոսկվայից հնչող հարցին, թե արդյոք Հայաստանի վրա ճնշումներ գործադրվում են Եվրասիական միությանն ինտեգրվելու հետ կապված, Իսկանդարյանն ընդգծեց, որ այլ կերպ հնարավոր չէր պատկերացնել, քանի որ Հայաստանը ակտիվ քաղաքականություն իրականացնող երկիր է:

«Իհարկե, Հայաստանի վրա ճնշումներ գործադրվում են տարբեր կողմերից: Մենք ապրում ենք Իրանի և Վրաստանի հարևանությամբ, որոնք բավական բարդ հարաբերություններ ունեն ԱՄՆ-ի ու ՌԴ-ի հետ, և դրանք չեն կարող Հայաստանի վրա որոշակիորեն չազդել:

Պետք է հիշել, որ Հայաստանը հարաբերություններ ունի Եվրամիության հետ, որը լարված հարաբերություններ ունի ՌԴ-ի հետ: Նույն իրավիճակն է նաեւ ԱՄՆ-ՌԴ հարաբերություններում: Իհարկե, այս ամենը իրենց ազդեցությունն ունենում են Հայաստանի վրա, սակայն շատ կարեւոր է նաեւ հիշել, որ Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության կարգախոսն է կոմպլեմենտարիզմը»,- նշեց Իսկանդարյանը:
