Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության ծառայության դիտացանցը սեպտեմբերի 25-ից մինչև հոկտեմբերի 1-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում Հայաստան-Վրաստան սահմանամերձ գոտում գրանցել է 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ ստորգետնյա ցնցում: Երկրաշարժը տեղի է ունեցել սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Աշոցք գյուղից 8 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՍՊԾ գործակալությունից, նույն ժամանակահատվածում տարածաշրջանում գրանցվել է 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ 13 երկրաշարժ, որից 4-ը' 3-ից մինչև 5 բալ ուժգնությամբ, Թուրքիայի Վան քաղաքի տարածքում: Սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Թուրքիայի Բուլանիկ քաղաքից 46 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք գտնվող էպիկենտրոնով երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը եղել է 3 բալ: Հաջորդ օրը տեղի է ունեցել 5 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ, որի էպիկենտրոնը գտնվում էր Թուրքիայում' Մուշ քաղաքից 40 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք: Սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Ադրբեջան-Ռուսաստան (Դաղստան) սահմանային գոտում՝ Գաբալա (Կուտկաշեն) քաղաքից 19 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք, գրանցվել է 7 բալ ուժգնությամբ սեյսմիկ իրադարձություն: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումները զգացվել են ինչպես Դաղստանում և Ադրբեջանում, այնպես էլ Հայաստանում, մասնավորապես, Տավուշի մարզում, և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում' 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ: Այդ օրը երկրաշարժին հետևել է 3-ից մինչև 5 բալ ուժգնությամբ հինգ հետցնցում: Սեպտեմբերի 30-ին 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել Վրաստանի մայրաքաղաք Թբիլիսիից 6 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք:

Տարածաշրջանից դուրս գրանցվել է 6 և ավելի մագնիտուդով 2 երկրաշարժ, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել սեպտեմբերի 25-ին: Առաջին երկրաշարժը տեղի է ունեցել Սողոմոնյան կղզիների տարածքում և ունեցել է 6 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությունը, երկրորդը՝ 6.1 մագնիտուդով, գրանցվել է Ալյասկայում: Երկրաշարժերի հետևանքով զոհեր և ավերածություններ չկան: Սեպտեմբերի 28-ին Պերուի հարավում՝ Պարուրո նահանգի Կուսկո շրջանում տեղի ունեցած 4.9 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժի հետևանքով առավել տուժել է էպիկենտրոնային գոտում գտնվող Միսկա գյուղը: Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով կա 8 մարդկային զոհ, 15 վիրավոր, 4 մարդ անհետ կորել է, Յարիսկ գյուղում քանդվել է 75 տուն, փրկարարներին հաջողվել է փլատակներից հանել 4 տուժածի, փլուզումների պատճառով փակվել են գյուղ տանող ավտոճանապարհները:
