Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության ծառայության դիտացանցը հոկտեմբերի 9-15-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում տարածաշրջանում գրանցել է 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ 8 երկրաշարժ, որից չորսը՝ 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ, Ադրբեջանի հյուսիսարևմտյան տարածքում: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՍՊԾ գործակալությունից, երկրաշարժերը տեղի են ունեցել հոկտեմբերի 10-11- ը, երկուսը՝ Մինգեչաուր քաղաքից 6 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք, երկուսն էլ Աղստաֆա քաղաքից 16 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք: Հոկտեմբերի 10-ին Թուրքիա-Իրան սահմանային գոտում տեղի ունեցած 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժի էպիկենտրոնային գոտին գտնվում էր Դողուբայազեթ քաղաքից 13 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք: Նույն օրը Թուրքիայի Վան քաղաքից 53 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք գրանցվել է 4-5 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ, որին հետևել է 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ հետցնցում: Հոկտեմբերի 13-ին Իրանի Խոյ քաղաքից 30 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք գտնվող էպիկենտրոնով երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը կազմել է 4 բալ :

Տարածաշրջանից դուրս նույն ժամանակահատվածում գրանցվել է 6 և ավելի մագնիտուդով 5 երկրաշարժ: Հոկտեմբերի 9-ին 7.1 և 6.6 մագնիտուդերով երկրաշարժեր են տեղի ունեցել Արևելախաղաղօվկիանոսյան բարձրացման գոտում: Հոկտեմբերի 11-ին Ճապոնիայի Հոնսյու կղզու հյուսիսարևելյան ափերի մոտ տեղի է ունեցել 6.3 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ: Երկրաշարժերի հետևանքով զոհեր և ավերածություններ չկան: Հոկտեմբերի 14-ին Սալվադոր-Նիկարագուա սահմանային ափամերձ գոտում գրանցված 7.3 մագնիտուդով ուժեղ երկրաշարժի հետևանքով Սալվադորում զոհվել է 1 մարդ, մասամբ վնասվել են տասնյակ շենքեր, գրանցվել են էլեկտրամատակարարման ընդհատումներ: Ցունամիի նախազգուշացման խաղաղօվկիանոսյան կենտրոնը հայտարարել է հնարավոր ցունամիի վտանգի մասին, ինչը որոշ ժամանակ անց հերքվել է: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումներն զգացվել են Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայում, որտեղ վերջին ժամանակներս նկատվում է վառ արտահայտված սեյսմիկ ակտիվություն: Նույն օրը Նոր Զելանդիայի Կերմադեք կղզիների տարածքում տեղի է ունեցել երկրաշարժ, որն ունեցել է 6.1 մագնիտուդ ուժգնություն: Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհեր և ավերածություններ չկան:

Հոկտեմբերի 15-ին 5.6 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Իրան-Իրաք սահմանային գոտում: Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով մարմնական վնասվածք է ստացել առնվազն 20 մարդ:
