ԱՄՆ Սպիտակ տունը կարևորում է պատմական նշանակություն ունեցող Հայոց ցեղասպանության որբերի գորգի ցուցադրությունը Վաշինգտոնում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին թուրքական «Անադոլու» գործակալության լրագրողի հարցին ի պատասխան հայտնել է Սպիտակ տան Ազգային անվտանության խորհրդի խոսնակ Մարկ Սթրոհը:

«Գորգը կարևոր պատմական արժեք ունի: Արդեն երկար ժամանակ է, ինչ մտածում էինք գորգը լավագույնս ցուցադրելու տարբերակների մասին»,- նշել է Սթրոհը՝ ընդգծելով, որ այն կարիք ուներ իրեն համապատասխան կերպով ցուցադրելու: Ազգային անվտանության խորհրդի խոսնակը տեղեկացրել է նաև, որ ցուցադրությունը կապված չէ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարյուրերորդ տարելիցի հետ:

Հայոց ցեղասպանության որբերի գորգը ամենայն հավանականությամբ նոյեմբերի 18-23-ը ներկայացված կլինի Սպտակ տան այցելուների կենտրոնում՝ որպես ցուցարդրության մաս:

Գորգը գործվել է հայ որբերի կողմից 1920 թ.: Գորգը հարուստ մանրամասներով մի աշխատանք է.հետևելով գորգի նախշերին՝ կարելի է տեսնել բույսեր և կենդանիներ, որոնք պատկերում են Դրախտը:Որբերի գորգը գործել են հայ աղջիկներ, ովքեր 1915 թ. ցեղասպանության ժամանակ փրկվել ևտարհանվել են ԱՄՆ-ի հովանավորյալ Մերձավոր արևելքի օգնության կազմակերպության կողմից: Գորգըգործվել է Ղազիր քաղաքում (այժմ Լիբանանում է), որպես երախտիք ԱՄՆ-ի կոմից ցուցաբերածօգնության: Այն 1925 թվականին նվիրվել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Քելվին Քուլիջին: Քուլիջի կառավարմանտա րիներին գորգը հպարտորեն և հրապարակայնորեն ցուցադրվել է Սպիտակ տանը: Բայց նախագահ ԲիլՔլինթոնի կառավարումից հետո այն այլևս չի ցուցադրվել: Սպիտակ տունը, որ նախապես թույլատրել էրգորգը ցուցադրության հանել, առեղծվածային և կտրուկ կերպով հայտարարել էր, որ պատմականնշանակություն ունեցող այդ գործը «ներկա պահին հնարավոր չէ տրամադրել» ցուցադրության համար:
