«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Խորհրդարանում  «Սահմանամերձ համայնքներում իրականացվող գործունեությանը հարկային արտոնություններ տալու մասին» օրենքի քննարկման ժամանակ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իր ելույթում վրդովված հայտարարեց, որ հայրենի կառավարությունը հերթական անգամ ցանկանում է «քցել» ժողովրդին։ Երեկ «Ժողովուրդ»-ը զրուցել է կառավարության ներկայացրած նախագծի հարակից զեկուցող Վարդան Այվազյանի հետ՝ պարզելու համար, արդյոք ՀՀ կառավարությունը «քցում է» ժողովրդին։

Պարոն Այվազյան, ՀԱԿ խմբակցության անդամ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքերով՝ ՀՀ կառավարությունն այս նախագծով «քցում է» սահմանամերձ համայնքի բնակիչներին եւ որեւէ կերպ չի օգնելու նրանց։ Խաբո՞ւմ եք ժողովրդին։

Այս նախագիծը նրա մասին է, որ սահմանամերձ գյուղերի բնակիչներին հարկային արտոնություններ են տրվելու, իսկ պարոն Փաշինյանի առաջարկածը կոմունալ վարձերի փոփոխությունն է, այսինքն, սա մեկը մյուսին համալրող է, ոչ թե մեկը մյուսին դեմ է։ Այստեղ «քցելու խնդիր չկա, եթե մարդկանց ասում ենք հարկերը մի վճարեք, դա քցե՞լ է։
