ԲԻ Բի Սի հեռուստաընկերության հաղորդման համաձայն, Վաշինգտոնյան այդ հեռուստաընկերությանը տված զրույցում ԱՄՆ-ում քաղաքացիական իրավունքների ակտիվիստ քահանա Ջեսի Ջեկսընը ասել է.«Պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնել Ֆերգուսեն նահանգում սպանված պատանու պատճառով ցույցի դուրս եկած ժողովրդի պահանջներին: Ժողովրդի զայրույթի կուտակմամբ նաև մեծանում է ցասման բռնկման ու բրտարարքների հավանականությունը»:

Ջեկսընը շեշտել է.«ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի ունեցած վերջին ցույցերը վկայում են այդ խնդրի մասին: Այժմ ԱՄՆ-ի ոստիկանությունը դիմել է բռնի միջոցների, որ պատճառ է դարձել ժողովրդի խիստ հակազդեցության»:

Ջեսի Ջեկսընը հստակեցրել է ասելով.« ԱՄՆ-ի ոստիկանության և  սևամորթների հարբերությունները գտնվում են վատ վիճակում և այդ ոլորտում ցեղային խնդիրները շատ վատ են դրսևորվում»:
