Հայաստանի կառավարությունը պաշտոնական հայտ է ներկայացրել Եվրոպայի խորհրդի Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարան, որպեսզի որպես երրորդ կողմ ներգրավվի թուրք ազգայնական գործիչ Դողու Փերինչեքի գործում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազի մամուլի խոսնակ Քրիստինե Մելքոնյանն ասաց, որ հայտ ներկայացնելու ժամկետը մինչեւ օգոստոսի 26-ն է, եւ Հայաստանն, օգտագործելով իր իրավունքը, համապատասխան փաստաթղթերն արդեն ուղարկել է Ստրասբուրգ:

Հուլիսի 15-ին Հրազդանում «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանն ասել էր, որ հայկական կողմը տրամադրված է լուրջ և վճռական, ու ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կստեղծվի փաստաբանական խումբ' գործում հաջողության հասնելու համար:

2007 թվականի մարտի 9-ին շվեյցարական դատարանը Քրեական օրենսգրքի 216-րդ հոդվածով դատապարտել էր թուրք ազգայնական Դողու Փերինչեքին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ժխտելու համար' ենթարկելով ինչպես ֆինանսական, այնպես էլ քրեական պատասխանատվության: Վուդիկանտոնի վերաքննիչ դատարանը և Դաշնային գերագույն դատարանը մերժել էին մարտի 9-ի դատավճռի դեմ ներկայացված բողոքը:

2013 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 17-ին Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի իրավասու պալատը դատավճիռ է կայացրել, ըստ որի' շվեյցարական դատարանները խախտել են բողոքարկողի՝ Փերինչեքի խոսքի ազատության իրավունքը: Շվեյցարիայի արդարադատության դաշնային գրասենյակը մարտի 11-ին հաղորդել էր, որ Շվեյցարիան պատրաստվում է դիմել Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարան (ՄԻԵԴ)՝ Դողու Փերինչեքի գործը Գերագույն պալատի կողմից վերանայելու պահանջով: ՄԻԵԴ-ը գործը Գերագույն պալատ ուղղել էր մինչև մարտի 17-ը: Ենթադրվում է, որ Փերինչեքի գործով առաջին դատական նիստը տեղի կ ունենա այս տարվա նոյեմբերի 5-ին:
