AFP-ն գրում է, որ համաշխարհային առաջատար սոցիալական ցանցի անվտանգության խորհրդականներից մեկն նպատակ ունի կոչ անել ցանցի ղեկավարներին սահմանափակել բռնության տեսարաններ պարունակող նատուրալիստական նկարների ու կադրերի ցուցադրումը: Այս առաջարկության պատճառ են հանդիսացել գլխատված մարդկանց լուսանկարներն ու կադրերը, որոնք տարածվել են ԻԼԻՊ ահաբեկչական խմբավորման կողմից ֆեյսբուքյան հարթակում: Նախ ընկերությունը հրաժարվել էր դրանք հեռացնել, նշելով, որ չեն հակասում ցանցի օգտագործման կանոններին, սակայն հետո, ԲԻ Բի Սի-ի դիմումից հետո այդ նկարներն ու կադրերն արգելափակվել են: Ընտանիքի համացանցային անվտանգության ամերիկյան ինստիտուտի (Fosi) ղեկավար Սթիվեն Բալքեմը հայտարարել է, որ այս հարցը կբարձրացնի Ֆեյսբուքի անվտանգության հարցերով սեպտեմբերյան համաժողովի ժամանակ: “Նախ, անհրաժեշտ է հատուկ զգուշացնող տեքստ, որը կասի, որ նկարներն ու կադրերը ունեն նատուրալիստական բնույթ: Այն թույլ կտա, որպեսզի օգտատերերը, հատկապես երեխաները խուսափեն նման կադրերից ու լուսանկարներից: Ապա անհրաժեշտ է մտցնել տարիքային սահմանափակումներ ու օգտատերը պետք է փաստի որ արդեն չափահաս է: Թեև այս կանոնն հեշտ է շրջանցելը, սակայն այն գոնե նվազագույն իր գործառույթը կիրականացնի` կզգուշացնի օգտատիրոջը իր լուրերի հոսքի կամ իրեն հասած լինքի մեջ տեղ գտած նյութի բովանդակության մասին:,- նշել է համացանցային անվտանգության մասնագետը: 2013-ին Բալքեմը խիստ քննադատության էր ենթարկել Ֆեյսբուքը այն բանի համար, որ վերջինս թույլատրել էր մի տեսանյութի հրապարակում, որտեղ Մեքսիակում գլխատում են մի կնոջ: Դրանից հետո որոշ ժամանակ ցանցում օգտատերերին զգուշացնում էին, լուսանկարների, կադրերի կամ տեսանյութերի նատուրալիստականության ու բռնություն պարունակելու մասին, սակայն հետո ցանցի ղեկավարությունը որոշեց դա վերացնել: Ֆեյսբուքն իր հերթին հայտարարել է, որ յուրաքանչյուրը իրավունք ունի ազատորեն տեսնելու ու քննադատելու նման լուսանկարները, կադրերն ու տեսանյութերը:
