Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը պետք է կարգավորվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարով, և պետք է հաշվի առնվեն հակամարտության կարգավորման երեք կարևոր սկզբունքները: Պատերազմը պետք է բացառվի, և պետք է բացառվի ռազմական ճանապարհով խնդրի կարգավորման տարբերակը: Տեսակետը Լիտվայի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր, Լիտվա-Արցախ բարեկամության խմբի անդամ Դալիա Կուոդիտեինն է:
«Պատերազմը շատ վատ լուծում է, դա սարսափելի է: Այսօր ձեր նախագահի հետ խոսում էինք այդ հարցի շուրջ և մենք պարզեցինք, որ մեր կարծիքները համընկնում են: Նա ասաց, որ Հայաստանը խաղաղության կողմնակից է և ցանկանում է ԼՂ հակամարտությունը կարգավորել բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Արցախի ժողովուրդը ցանկանում է խաղաղ ապրել, և այն ցանկանում է, որ հարգվի իր ինքնորոշման իրավունքը: Մարդիկ մահանում են միայն նրա համար, որ ցանկանում են խաղաղ ապրել»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Դալիա Կուոդիտեն՝ հավելելով, որ ժողովրդավարական արժեքներ կրող և հումանիստական գաղափարներ ունեցող ցանկացած պետություն պետք է բացառի պատերազմն ու ջանքեր ներդնի խաղաղության հաստատման համար:
Տիկին Կուոդիտեն ասաց, որ երկուշաբթի իր ղեկավարած պատվիրակությունը կմեկնի Արցախ և այնտեղ կհանդիպի ԼՂՀ ղեկավարությանը, պատգամավորներին, քաղաքացիներին: «Ստեփանակերտում կքննարկենք մեր ապագա համագործակցության ծրագրերը, առաջիկայի նախագծեր կկազմենք: Կարծում եմ՝ դա կլինի հաջողված ե արդյունավետ այցելություն»,- նշեց նա:
Լատվիացի խորհրդարանականն հայտնեց, որ տեղյակ է Ադրբեջանի «սև ցուցակի» մասին, և կարծում է, որ ինքն արդեն այդ ցուցակում կա: «Դա Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության ընտրությունն է, իմ ընտրությունն էլ Արցախ այցելելն է»,- շեշտեց Կուոդիտեն:
Անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախության ճանաչմանը՝ նա ասաց, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ շնորհավորել է ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին այն առթիվ, որ ԱՄՆ Կալիֆորնիայի Սենատն ընդունել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախությունը ճանաչող բանաձևը: Նա չբացառեց, որ մի օր էլ Լիտվան կճանաչի Արցախի անկախությունը: «Իհարկե դա հենց վաղը տեղի չի ունենա, բայց ես չեմ բացառում, որ մի օր էլ Լիտվան կճանաչի Արցախի անկախությունը»,- հավելեց Կուոդիտեն:
Երևանում է Լիտվայի Հանրապետության Սեյմի Լիտվա-Արցախ բարեկամության խմբի պատվիրակությունը, որը գլխավորում էր խմբի ղեկավար Դալիա Կուոդիտեն: Օգոստոսի 30-ին նրանց ընդունել են ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ու ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
