Աշխատանքային այցով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր առավոտյան ԼՂՀ Նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի հետ այցելել է Ստեփանակերտի «Մետաքսկոմբինատ» ՍՊԸ, ծանոթացել ընկերության ընթացիկ գործունեությանն ու հետագա ծրագրերին: ՀՀ և ԼՂՀ նախագահները եղել են «Սարտիս» իտալական ընկերության կողմից հիմնադրված «Գրեյթ փարթներշիփ» ընկերության նորաբաց կարի արտադրամասում, որտեղ նախատեսվում է հիմնել ավելի քան 450 աշխատատեղ:
Այնուհետև Սերժ Սարգսյանը և Բակո Սահակյանն այցելել են ԼՂՀ Մարտակերտի շրջանի Չափար գյուղ, որտեղ ներկա են գտնվել գյուղի նորակառույց դպրոցի բացման արարողությանը: Չափարի նախկին դպրոցը, որը 1990-ականների սկզբին պատերազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ զգալիորեն վնասվել էր և գործում էր մասնակի վերանորոգումից հետո, այսօր արդեն փոխարինվել է նոր և բարեկարգ երկհարկանի դպրոցով, որտեղ անցած ուսումնական տարվա համեմատ ավելացել է նաև աշակերտների թիվը. 84 աշակերտի համար նախատեսված ուսումնական այս հաստատությունում սեպտեմբերից դպրոց կհաճախի 53 աշակերտ:
Հայաստանի և Արցախի նախագահները Չափարում նաև ծաղիկներ են խոնարհել արցախյան ազատամարտում զոհվածների հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշակոթողին:
Նախօրեին հայկական երկու հանրապետությունների նախագահներն այցելել են նաև Մարտունու շրջանի Թաղավարդ գյուղ, ծանոթացել այնտեղ գործող ձեթի գործարանի աշխատանքներին:
Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի աշխատանքային այցը ԼՂՀ շարունակվում է. Հանրապետության Նախագահն այսօր ներկա կգտնվի նաև Շուշիի երկրաբանական թանգարանի բացմանը, իսկ երեկոյան՝ Շուշիի ամրոցում կայանալիք՝ Ավետ Տերտերյանի «Կրակե օղակ» օպերայի արցախյան պրեմիերային, որը նվիրված է Արցախի անկախության օրվան և անվանի կոմպոզիտոր Ավետ Տերտերյանի ծննդյան 85-ամյակին:
