Սեպտեմբերի 2-ին ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը, Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգող Բրեդլի Բուզետտոյի, Եզդիների ազգային միության նախագահ Ազիզ Թամոյանի, Հայաստանի եզդիների հոգևոր առաջնորդ շեյխ Բրո Հասանյանի ներկայությամբ ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով գերագույն հանձնակատարի (ՄԱԿԳՀ) հայաստանյան ներկայացուցիչ Քրիստոֆ Բիերվիթին է հանձնել ՄԱԿ-ի ՄԱԿԳՀ-ի ժնևյան կենտրոնակայանի հաշվեհամարին ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից Իրաքում ծայրահեղականների գործողությունների հետևանքով տուժած և իրենց բնակավայրերից տեղահանված եզդիներին օգնություն տրամադրելու նպատակով 100000 ԱՄՆ դոլարի փոխանցման մասին հայտագիրը։
Միջոցառմանը, դիմելով ներկաներին, արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ասել է. «Վերջին շաբաթների ընթացքում աշխարհի ուշադրության կենտրոնում են Իրաքում ծայրահեղականների կողմից կրոնական և ազգային փոքրամասնությունների դեմ իրականացվող զանգվածային ոճրագործությունները։ Բռնությունների հետևանքով բնակության մշտական վայրերից տեղահանվել են հազարավոր խաղաղ բնակիչներ` եզդիներ, քրիստոնյաներ, մահմեդականներ։ Բռնությունները բազմաթիվ զոհերի պատճառ են դարձել։
Հանրապետության Նախագահի հանձնարարությամբ` արտգործնախարարությունը համապատասխան քայլեր է ձեռնարկել. Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչները միջազգային կազմակերպություններում բարձրաձայնել են խնդրի հրատապության և միջազգային հանրության կողմից անհապաղ քայլեր ձեռնարկելու անհրաժեշտության մասին։ Հայաստանը համահեղինակել է ՄԱԿ-ի մարդու իրավունքների խորհրդում սեպտեմբերի 1-ին ընդունված համապատասխան բանաձևը։
Հայաստանի ժողովուրդը և իշխանությունները կիսում են եզդի համաքաղաքացիների անհանգստությունը և վրդովմունքը` տեղի ունեցող ողբերգական զարգացումների կապակցությամբ։
Ինչպես տեղյակ եք՝ Հայաստանի կառավարությունը որոշում է կայացրել Իրաքում տեղահանված եզդիներին 100000 ԱՄՆ դոլարի չափով օժանդակություն ցուցաբերելու մասին, և այսօր ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների գրասենյակի Հայաստանի ներկայացուցչին ենք հանձնում վերոհիշյալ գումարի փոխանցման մասին հայտագիրը»։
Եզդիների ազգային միության նախագահ Ազիզ Թամոյանը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Հայաստանի իշխանություններին և ժողովրդին` եզդիների մտահոգությունները կիսելու, խնդիրը միջազգային ատյաններում բարձրացնելու և ծանր պահին եզդի ժողովրդի կողքին կանգնելու և օժանդակություն ցուցաբերելու համար։
Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգող Բրեդլի Բուզետտոն իր խոսքում ողջունել է Հայաստանի մարդասիրական քայլը և համերաշխությունը` ցեղասպանության սպառնալիքի առջև հայտնված Իրաքի փոքրամասնությունների հետ։ ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգողի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի մասնակցությունը ՄԱԿ-ի մարդասիրական գործունեությանն ի ցույց է դնում Հայաստանի կարևոր դերակատարությունը` որպես միջազգային հումանիտար հանրության անդամ։ Նա վստահեցրեց, որ ՄԱԿ-ը անում է հնարավորը` Իրաքում բռնություններից տուժածների հոգսը թեթևացնելու և նրանց օժանդակելու համար։
ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով գերագույն հանձնակատարի հայաստանյան ներկայացուցիչ Քրիստոֆ Բիերվիթը բարձր է գնահատել Իրաքի եզդիներին օժանդակելու Հայաստանի որոշումը, որը կարևոր ներդրում է` տեղահանվածներին օգնելու գործում։
