Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսի նախագահությամբ Թեհրանի «Արարատ» մարզավանում տեղի է ունեցել մարզավանի հիմնադրման 70-ամյակի տոնախմբությունը:

Միջոցառմանը ներկա են եղել Թեհրանի, Սպահանի և Ատրպատականի առաջնորդ սրբազանները, Հայաստանի ու Ռուսաստանի դեսպանները, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության սփյուռքի նախարարը և զանազան կազմակերպությունների ու միությունների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Շուրջ երկու ժամ տևած հանդիսության ընթացքում հաջորդաբար խոսք են ասել «Արարատ» միության ատենապետը, Սեպուհ Սրբազանը, Հ.Մ.Ը.Մ.-ի Կենտրոնական Վարչության ու Համազգայինի Կենտրոնական Վարչության ատենապետերը և ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարը, որոնք բոլորն էլ շեշտել են միության բերած կարևոր նպաստն իրանահայ կյանքին: Առաջնորդ Սրբազանը վեր է հանել այն նշանակալից դերը, որ ունեցել է «Արարատ» միությունը հատկապես գաղութի մշակութային կյանքում և կոչ է ուղղել միությանը, որպեսզի ավելի եռանդով շարունակի իր առաքելությունը:

Իր հայրապետական պատգամի մեջ Վեհափառ Հայրապետն անդրադարձել է մեր ժողովրդի գեղեցիկ ավանդությանը, որով մեր պատմությանն առնչվող մարդկանց, դեպքերի, տեղանունների անուններով հաճախ մկրտում են միությունների, թաղամասերի կամ մարդկանց անուններ: Վեհափառ Հայրապետն անդրադարձել է «Արարատ» անվանմանը. «Արարատը սոսկ լեռ չէ մեր ժողովրդի համար: Այն մեր հավատքի, վճռականության, հույսի ու տեսիլքի խոյանքն է դեպի երկինք: Հնարավոր չէ հայությունն ու Հայաստանը հասկանալ առանց Արարատի: Այսօր գերեվարված է Արարատը ցեղասպան թուրքի կողմից, սակայն այն հայությանն է պատկանում: Այս գիտակցությամբ պետք է ապրի ու պայքարի յուրաքանչյուր հայ»:

Անդրադառնալով Իրանի հայության հիմնած «Արարատ» միությանը՝ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը նշել է. «Իրանի հայության կյանքում յոթանասուն տարիներ «Արարատ» միությունը ապրել ու ապրեցրել է որպես ոգի, հավատք ու տեսիլք: Այսօր այն պետք է վերանորոգի իր ուխտը, նույն հանձնառությամբ շարունակելու իր արարատյան առաքելությունը»:

Այնուհետև գեղարվեստական հարուստ հայտագիր է ներկայացվել, որին հաջորդել է հյուրասիրություն «Արարատ» մարզավանի սրահում: Նույն օրը Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսին այցելել և ճաշի հյուրն է եղել Իրանում Ռուսաստանի հայազգի դեսպան Լևոն Ճաղարյանը: Ներկա էին նաև Իրանի երեք թեմերի առաջնորդները:
