Թուրքիայի մշակույթի եւ տուրիզմի նախարար Օմեր Չելիքը դարձել է առաջին թուրք բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյան, ով հայկական Անիի հետ կապված արտասանել է «հայ» բառը։

Թուրքական Haberler-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Թուրքիայի մշակույթի եւ տուրիզմի նախարար Օմեր Չելիքը հայտնել է, թե իրենք ջանքեր են գործադրում, որպեսզի «1001 եկեղեցիների» քաղաք Անին մինչեւ 2016 թվականը մտնի ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի համաշխարհային մշակութային ժառանգության ցանկ։

Օմեր Չելիքը նշել է, թե հայ ժողովուրդն այս հողերում համաշխարհային ժառանգություն թողած մի շարք ժողովուրդներից մեկն է։ «Եւ պատմական Անի քաղաքը հայերի հետքերը մեզ փոխանցող մի կարեւոր ժառանգություն է։ Մենք էլ այդ ժառանգությունը մեր հողերում գտնվող ցանկացած ժառանգության պես պատրաստում ենք փոխանցել գալիք սերունդներին։

Այս հողերում հայկական մշակույթի հետքերի շարունակությունը մեր մշակույթային հարստության ապացույց է։ Փրկչի եկեղեցու եւ Մրենի տաճարի վերանորոգման աշխատանքներին Հայաստանից մասնագետներ են մասնակցելու»,-ասել է Թուրքիայի մշակույթի եւ տուրիզմի նախարար Օմեր Չելիքը։

Նշենք, նաեւ որ Անիում կանգուն մնացած հայկական շինությունների դիմաց տեղադրված ցուցանակների վրա չկա «հայ» կամ «Հայաստան» գրությունը։
