Հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, օլիմպիական խաղերի արծաթե մեդալակիր, ԵՊՀ միջազգային հարաբերությունների ֆակուլտետի միջազգային հարաբերությունների և դիվանագիտության ամբիոնի ասպիրանտ Արսեն Ջուլֆալակյանն արժանացավ համալսարանի «Հոբելյանական մեդալին»: ԵՊՀ ռեկտոր Արամ Սիմոնյանը հպարտ է որպես ռեկտոր, որպես մանկավարժ և որպես հայ մարդ, որ իր ղեկավարած բուհի ուսանողներևի շարքում կա Արսեն Ջուլֆալակյանի պես երիտասարդ: «Թյուր կարծիք կա ձևավորված, որ սպորտի բնագավառում լուրջ հաջողությունների հասած մարզիկները, ստեղծագործական այլ բարձունքների չեն հասնում: Արսենն այն եզակիներից է, ով ապացուցում է հակառակը: Արսենը մարդու այն տեսակն է, ով հստակ գիտի, թե ինչ է ուզում կյանքից»,-ասաց Սիմոնյանը:

Ռեկտորը հանդիպման ժամանակ շեշտեց նաև, որ թեպետ Արսենն արդեն մեկ մեդալ ունի ԵՊՀ-ից ստացած, սակայն համալսարանն այս անդամ աշխարհի չեմպիոնին կպարգևատրի «Հոբելյանական մեդալով»:

«Ճիշտ է' իմ ընտրած բնագավառները հիմնովին տարբեր են, բայց կան ընդհանուր գծեր, ինչպես, օրինակ, աշխատասիրությունը և կամքը: Եթե կա այդ երկու հատկանիշները, բոլոր բնագավառներում կարելի է հասնել լուրջ հաջողությունների: Հիմա բոլորին մաղթում և ասում եմ, որ ձգտեք միշտ լինել առաջինը ձեր բնագավառում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, ասաց Ջուլֆալակյանը:

Ներկաները, շնորհավորելով Ջուլֆալակյանին, մաղթեցին նվաճել նաև Օլիմպիական ոսկին:

Հունահռոմեական ոճի Հայաստանի ըմբիշ, 75կգ քաշային Արսեն Ջուլֆալակյանը Տաշքենդում կայացած հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի առաջնության ժամանակ նվաճել էր աշխարհի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը: Հայ մարզիկը վճռական մրցամարտում 4:0 հաշվով հաղթել էր խորվաթ մարզիկ Ժուգային: Ջուլֆալակյանն այդ մրցաշարում 5 մրցամարտ անցկացրեց' 3-ում հաղթելով խոշոր հաշվով:
