Երևանի զարգացման 2014թ. ծրագրերի շրջանակում արդեն ավարտական փուլում են մայրաքաղաքի բակերի համալիր բարեկարգման ու նոր այգիների և պուրակների ստեղծման աշխատանքները: Արաբկիր վարչական շրջան կատարած աշխատանքային շրջայցի ընթացքում Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն արաբկիրցիների հետ հանդիսավորությամբ բացել է հերթական նորաստեղծ հանգստի գոտիները: Այգիների կառուցման տարեկան ծրագրի շրջանակում ամբողջովին վերակառուցվել ու բնակիչների տնօրինմանն է հանձնվել Հայաստանի Ամերիկյան համալսարանին հարակից այգին: Նստարաններով, մանուկների համար խաղահրապարակներով կահավորված ու արտաքին լուսավորությամբ ապահովված հարմարավետ հանգստի այս գոտին, բնակիչների հավաստմամբ, սպասված ու ցանկալի նվեր էր, որի համար նրանք իրենց շնորհակալությունն են հայտնել քաղաքապետին: Հրաժեշտից առաջ Երևանի քաղաքապետն այգում մշտադալար եղևնի է տնկել:
Բնակիչների հանգստի կազմակերպման համար հարմարավետ ու բարեկարգ է դարձել նաև Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանի Գյուլբենկյան փողոցում գտնվող պուրակը: Հանգստի գոտու բացման արարողության ընթացքում Երևանի քաղաքապետը հանդիսավորությամբ բացել է նաև քանդակագործ Գարեգին Դավթյանի հեղինակած Գալուստ Գյուլբենկյանի կիսանդրին: Տարոն Մարգարյանը, բնակիչների հետ գնահատելով կատարած աշխատանքները, մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծել է, որ քաղաքապետարանի որդեգրած քաղաքականության հիմնանպատակը Երևանի համաչափ զարգացման ապահովումն է և որ բարեկարգման ծրագրերը հետևողականորեն շարունակվելու են այնքան ժամանակ, մինչև մայրաքաղաքի բոլոր այգիներն ու պուրակները լինեն բարեկարգ. «Հնարավորության սահմաններում մենք նաև այգիների ու պուրակների թիվն ենք ավելացնում, և այս տարի Արաբկիրը մի քանի այդպիսի նոր տարածքով էլ հարստացավ՝ Ամերիկյան համալսարանին հարակից այգին, Գյուլբենկյան փողոցի այս պուրակը, որտեղ նաև մեծ բարերարի կիսանդրին բացեցինք այսօր: Եվ վստահ եմ, որ հանգստի բոլոր այս նոր գոտիներն արդեն իսկ հասցրել են դառնալ մեր բնակիչների սիրված վայրերը»,- նշել է քաղաքապետը:
Այգիների կառուցման ու վերակառուցման ծրագրերի շրջանակում առանձնակի ուշադրություն է դարձվում նաև կանաչ գոտիների ստեղծմանը: Այդ նպատակով բարեկարգվող տարածքներն ապահովվում են նաև ոռոգման նոր համակարգով. «Առանձնակի կարևորելով կանաչ գոտիների ստեղծումն ու ընդլայնումը, ինչպես գիտեք, մենք պարբերաբար նաև համաքաղաքային ծառատունկեր ենք կազմակերպում և, օգտվելով առիթից, մեր բոլոր համաքաղաքացիներին կոչ եմ անում ակտիվորեն մասնակցել նոյեմբերի 8-ին նախատեսված համաքաղաքային ծառատունկին և շաբաթօրյակին: Ես համոզված եմ, որ համատեղ ուժերով մենք կվերականգնենք մեր երբեմնի կանաչ Երևանի համբավը, որը եղել ու մնում է բոլորիս ցանկությունը: Նաև նշեմ, որ համապատասխան տնկիներ կբաժանվեն նաև բակային տարածքներում և յուրաքանչյուրը հնարավորություն կունենա ի´ր ծառը տնկել ու խնամել հենց ի´ր բակում: Չմոռանանք, որ Երևանը բոլորիս մեծ տունն է, ու մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրը պարտավոր է հոգ տանել հարազատ տան մասին: Ու ես վստահ եմ, որ մեր համաքաղաքացիներն իրոք սիրում ու գնահատում են իրենց մեծ տունը և նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրը, իր փոքրիկ լուման ներդնելով, իսկապես նպաստում է սիրելի քաղաքի զարգացմանը»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետը:
