Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության առողջապահության նախարար Վերոնիկա Սկվորցովային և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը, որը Հայաստան է ժամանել հայ-ռուսական առողջապահական առաջին համաժողովին մասնակցելու նպատակով:

Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին, կարևորել հայ-ռուսական առողջապահական առաջին համաժողովի անցկացումը և հույս հայտնել, որ այն երկուստեք օգտակար ու արդյունավետ կլինի: Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքով՝ համաժողովը, հիմք դնելով առողջապահության ոլորտում համագործակցության նոր ձևաչափի, անկասկած, կհարստացնի հայ-ռուսական դաշնակցային գործընկերությունը և կնպաստի երկու երկրների միջև ռազմավարական հարաբերությունների առավել ամրապնդմանը:

Հանրապետության նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ առողջապահության խնդիրները բազմաթիվ են և առնչվում են յուրաքանչյուր մարդու, շոշափում՝ երկրների և ժողովուրդների սոցիալ-տնտեսական կյանքի բոլոր կողմերը: Այդ խնդիրները, Նախագահի համոզմամբ, սահմաններ չեն ճանաչում, ուստի չափազանց կարևոր է միավորել բոլոր պետությունների ջանքերը ՝ մեծ, թե փոքր, հարուստ ու զարգացած, թե զարգացող: Էբոլա համաճարակի օրինակը, որը լուրջ մարտահրավեր է ոչ միայն աֆրիկյան պետությունների համար, Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքով, ասվածի լավագույն վկայությունն է:

ՌԴ առողջապահության նախարարը համակարծիք է եղել, որ աշխարհում առողջապահության առջև բազմաթիվ մարտահրավերներ կան, որոնք առանց ջանքերի համատեղման, միմյանց աջակցության, ժամանակակից գիտական ձեռքբերումներին հաղորդակից դառնալու և փորձի փոխանակման, հնարավոր չի լինի հաղթահարել:

Վերոնիկա Սկվորցովան իր գլխավորած պատվիրակության անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ ընդունելության և առողջապահության խնդիրների նկատմամբ մշտական ուշադրության համար: Նա նշել է, որ բոլոր մասնակիցները երևանյան համաժողովին պատրաստվել էին մանրազնին, ինչն ունեցավ իր հստակ արդյունքները. ստորագրվեցին ոլորտի զարգացման համար զգալի նշանակություն ունեցող և հեռանկարային մի շարք փաստաթղթեր, սերտ կապեր հաստատվեցին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարության և Երևանի պետական բժշկական համալսարանի առաջատար պրոֆեսորների հետ, պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք բերվեցին համաժողովին պարբերական բնույթ հաղորդելու և դրա շրջանակներում շարունակելու խորացնել առողջապահության ոլորտում երկու երկրների համագործակցությունը: Ըստ այդմ, հաջորդ համաժողովը նախատեսված է անցկացնել Մոսկվայում:
