Նոյեմբերի 8-ին մայրաքաղաքում հայտարարված համաքաղաքային շաբաթօրյակին և ծառատունկին մասնակցել են բազմաթիվ պետական ու մասնավոր հիմնարկ ձեռնարկությունների, կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, Երևանի ավագանու անդամներ, ինչպես նաև հազարավոր քաղաքացիներ: Վաղ առավոտից Նոր Նորքի հայորդաց տան հարևանությամբ գտնվող տարածքում ընթացող ծառատունկին որդիների հետ միասին միացել է նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը:
Ավելի կանաչ Երևան ունենալու ցանկությունը համախմբել էր բոլորին: Համաքաղաքային ծառատունկի ընթացքում այս տարածքը ևս համալրվեց նոր տնկիներով: Պատասխանելով լրագրողների հարցերին՝ Երևանի քաղաքապետը մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծել է, որ, որպես ծրագրային առաջնահերթություն, քաղաքապետարանի կողմից իսկապես կարևորված է մայրաքաղաքի ընդհանուր օգտագործման կանաչ տարածքների վերականգնումն ու ընդլայնումը, որոնց ուղղությամբ վերջին տարիներին զգալի աշխատանքներ են տարվել. «Այսօր մայրաքաղաքում համաքաղաքային շաբաթօրյակի շրջանակում մենք, ինչպես և նախատեսել էինք, նաև աշնանային ծառատունկ ենք իրականացնում, որին մասնակցում եմ որդիներիս հետ միասին: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, ծառատունկի շրջանակում նախատեսել ենք շուրջ 20 հազար ծառ և 5000 թուփ տնկել: Եթե հիշում եք, գարնանային ծառատունկին մենք 40 հազար ծառ արդեն տնկել էինք: Մայրաքաղաքի կանաչ տարածքների ավելացմանն ուղղված վերջին տարիների մեր որդեգրած քաղաքականությունը հստակ է. յուրաքանչյուր տարի հնարավորինս ավելացնել Երևանի կանաչ մակերեսի ծավալները: Ըստ այդմ, եթե 2011թ.-ին, օրինակ, մայրաքաղաքի կանաչ տարածքներն ընդլայնվել են 3, ապա այս տարի՝ 5 հեկտարով»,- ընդգծել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը հավելելով, որ, այգիների ու բակերի բարեկարգմանը զուգահեռ, հստակ խնդիր է դրվել նշված տարածքներում ևս հնարավորինս ընդլայնել հարակից կանաչ գոտիները: «Ուզում եմ հատկապես ընդգծել, որ բակային տարածքների բարեկարգման մեր ծրագրում, որպես պարտադիր բաղադրիչ, առանձնակի կարևորվում է կանաչ տարածքների պահպանումն ու ավելացումը: Նաև տնտեսվարողների համար են սահմանված համապատասխան նորմերը, ըստ որի, հարակից տարածքների բարեկարգումը, կանաչապատումը և այդ տարածքների խնամքը պարտադիր պայման է բոլորի համար: Կանաչ տարածքների խնամքը ապահովելու նպատակով մեր ծրագրերում յուրաքանչյուր տարի ներառվում է նաև ոռոգման ցանցի ընդլայնումը: Այս տարի, օրինակ, այն ավելացել է ևս 22 կիլոմետրով»,- նշել է քաղաքապետը:
Լրագրողներից մեկի հարցին ի պատասխան էլ, թե ի՞նչ նշանակություն ունի ծառատունկը անձամբ Տարոն Մարգարյան մարդու և քաղաքապետի համար, քաղաքապետը պատասխանել է. «Ասում են՝ յուրաքանչյուր տղամարդ պետք է ծառ տնկի, տուն կառուցի և որդի ունենա: Անշուշտ, ճիշտ է ասված, միայն թե այդքանով մեր գործը չի ավարտվում: Յուրաքանչյուր տղամարդ պետք է նաև թև ու թիկունք լինի իր զավակներին, պահի ու պահպանի իր տունը և խնամի սեփական ձեռքերով տնկած ծառը: Այսօր համաքաղաքային ծառատունկին ես կոչ եմ անում մեր բոլոր համաքաղաքացիներին գոնե մեկ ծառ տնկել, եթե ոչ սեփական բարօրության, ապա մեր զավակների համար: Ի վերջո, Երևանը մեր բոլորի տունն է, և միայն համատեղ ուժերով մենք կարող ենք ավելի կանաչ ու մաքուր Երևան փոխանցել մեր գալիք սերունդներին»:
