Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հետ վերջինիս խնդրանքով օրերս ունեցած հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ զգուշացնելու տոնով հասկացնել է տվել նրան, որ Թուրքիան այսուհետ չպետք է միջամտի Սիրիայի ներքին գործերին: Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել է ռուսաստանյան անգլիալեզու Moscow Times թերթը:

Թերթը հայտնում է, որ հեռախոսազրույցում Էրդողանը հերթական անգամ Պուտինին ասել է, թե Թուրքիան այնպիսի սահմանի է հասել, որ սրանից հետո չի կարող «անտարբեր մնալ Սիրիայում մարդկանց զանգվածային սպանությունների նկատմամբ»: Էրդողանի այս խոսքը չափազանց զայրացրել է Պուտինին, ով խիստ տոնով նրան զգուշացրել է չմիջամտել Սիրիայի ներքին գործերին եւ հավելել, որ հակառակ դեպքում Ռուսաստանը կկանխի տարածաշրջանում աղետալի պատերազմը բորբոքելու Թուրքիայի ցանկությունը:

Ըստ թերթի' Ռուսաստանի նախագահի այս խոսքից շփոթված Էրդողանը Պուտինին հարցրել է, թե նրա այդ արտահայտությունը կարո՞ղ է Թուրքիայի դեմ անմիջական սպառնալիքի իմաստ կրել: Պուտինն իր պատասխանում ասել է. «Պարոն նախագահ, Դուք իմ խոսքերն ինչպես ցանկանում եք, այնպես էլ ընդունեք»:

Թերթը գրում է, որ Ռուսաստանի նախագահը Էրդողանին հիշեցրել է հազարավոր մարդկանց մահվան պատճառ դարձած Սիրիայի ճգնաժամում Թուրքիայի վարած «սխալ եւ ագրեսիվ» քաղաքականությունը, ինչպես նաեւ «վեհության մոլուցքով տարված նախագահ Էրդողանի» կողմից ջիհադական ահաբեկիչների համար Թուրքիայի տարածքում գտնվող անվտանգության գոտիներում ճամբարներ ստեղծելու փաստը:
