Արամ Ա Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսի նախագահությամբ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում նոյեմբերի 13-ին ընթացող Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովը, առաջին նիստի ընթացքում, մասնավոր անդրադարձ է ունեցել Արցախի առաջնագծում ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի կողմից ԼՂ պաշտպանության բանակի օդուժի ուղղաթիռի խոցման միջադեպին' դատապարտելով Ադրբեջանի կողմից սաձազերծված սադրիչ գործողությունները:
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից, եպիսկոպոսաց դասը աղոթք է բարձրացրել առ Աստված խոցված ուղղաթիռի անձնակազմի զոհված անդամներ մայոր Սերգեյ Սահակյանի, ավագ լեյտենանտ Սարգիս Նազարյանի և լեյտենանտ Ազատ Սահակյանի հոգիների հանգստության համար և սրտակցություն հայտնել զոհված հայորդիների ընտանիքներին ու հարազատներին:
Ստեղծված մտահոգիչ կացության առջև եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովն իր զորակցությունն է հայտնել ՀՀ և ԼՂՀ իշխանություններին' հայցելով Տիրոջ խաղաղությունը հայրենի մեր երկրին և ժողովրդին:
Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը և Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսը հանձնարարել են եպիսկոպոսներին եկեղեցիներում կատարել հոգեհանգստյան արարողություններ զոհված օդաչուների համար: Հանձնարարվել է նաև պետական և միջազգային լիազոր բոլոր ատյաններում աշխատանքներ իրականացնել' կանխարգելելու Ադրբեջանի կողմից ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացը խաթարող սադրիչ և ռազմատենչ գործողությունները և չեզոքացնելու պատերազմի վերսկսման վտանգը:
Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի արևելյան հատվածի օդային տարածքում նոյեմբերի 12-ին' ժամը 13.45-ի սահմաններում, ուսումնավարժական թռիչքի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-ի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում խոցվել է ԼՂՀ ՌՕՈւ ՄԻ-24 ուղղաթիռը: Խոցման վայրը շփման գծին չափազանց մոտ է: Հակառակորդը շարունակում է տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զենքերից ինտենսիվ կրակ վարել դեպքի վայրի ուղղությամբ: Ավելի ուշ Ստեփանակերտից հաստատեցին, որ նախնական տվյալներով կա երեք զոհ: Անձնակազմի հրամանատարն է եղել մայոր Սերգեյ Սահակյանը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը շեշտել է, որ հայկական ուղղաթիռը ռազմական գործողությունների համար չի եղել, ուղղաթիռում չի եղել զինամթերք եւ ադրբեջանական օդուժն այն խոցել է թիկունքից:
