Պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ չորեքշաբթի օրըՙ նոյեմբերի 12-ին, եվրոպական մի տիեզերանավից արձակված ռոբոտային սարքը վայրէջք կատարեց գիսաստղի վրա: «Ռոզետտայի» առաքելությունը վերահսկողները վերջապես վայրէջք կատարելու հրամանը արձակեցին չորեքշաբթի առավոտյան' վստահ լինելով, որ ամեն ինչ բարեհաջող կավարտվի, եւ տիեզերանավին կցված «Ֆիլա» ռոբոտային գլխիկը բոթիչ այրումի հետեւանքում պոկվեց ու դանդաղ, շուրջ 7 ժամվա վայրէջքից հետո հանգրվանեց ձգողականությունից զուրկ գիսաստղի մակերեսին: Գրում է «Ազգ»-ը:
«Ռոզետտան» արձակվել էր 2004-ի մարտի 2-ին, «Ariane-5» հրթիռով եւ գիսաստղին էր հասել 2014-ի օգոստոսի 6-ինՙ դառնալով առաջին տիեզերանավը, որը պտտվում է գիսաստղի շուրջը: Այն կտրել-անցել էր 500 միլիոն կիլոմետր ճանապարհ: «Ռոզետտան» դեռ 17 ամիս շարունակելու է հետազոտել 67P/Չուրյումով-Գերասիմենկո գիսաստղը եւ մանրամասն տեղեկություններ հաղորդել Գերմանիայի Դարմշտադ նահանգում գտնվող «Եվրոպական տիեզերական գործողությունների կենտրոնին»: Մասնավորապես այնՙ թե ինչ կազմվածք ունի գիսաստղը եւ ինչ տարրերից է բաղկացած:
Հետազոտող տիեզերանավին «Ռոզետտա» են կոչել Հին եգիպտական «Ռոզետտա քարի» անունով, իսկ ռոբոտային գլխիկին տվել են Նեղոսի կղզիներից մեկի անունըՙ Ֆիլա, որտեղ ժամանակին մի կոթող էին հայտնաբերել հունական եւ եգիպտական արձանագրություններով: «Ռոզետտա քարի» եւ կոթողի վրայի արձանագրությունների համեմատական վերլուծությունը շատ բան բացահայտեց եգիպտական գրական համակարգի մասին: Ակնկալվում է, որ տիեզերանավն էլ իր հերթին շատ բան կբացահայտի գիսաստղերի եւ ընդհանրապես Արեւային համակարգի մասին:
«Ռոզետտան» իր հետ տիեզերք է տարել նաեւ «Լոնգ Նաու Ֆաունդեյշնի» կողմից նվիրված նիկելից ձուլված մի սկավառակ, որի վրա ձայնագրվել է 13 հազար էջանոց մի տեքստՙ աշխարհի 1200 լեզուներով: Մասնագետների հաշվարկներով վերջին մեկ տասնամյակում մոտ 2000 մարդ մասնակցել է այս կամ այն ձեւով տիեզերանավի առաքելության իրականացմանը:
