Կիպրոսի Հանրապետությունը սատարում է Հայաստանի ջանքերը' Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում և խաղաղ բանակցությունների եղանակով կարգավորելու հարցում: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարեց Կիպրոսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահ Յանակիս Օմիրուն: «Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը պետք է կարգավորվի խաղաղ ճանապարհով, ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում իրականացվող բանակցությունների արդյունքում: Կիպրոսը սատարում է Հայաստանի ջանքերը' համակարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը հասնելու հարցում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Օմիրուն:
Անդրադառնալով ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում հայկական ուղղաթիռի խոցման փաստին՝ Կիպրոսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահն ընդգծեց, որ ինքը դատապարտում է ցանկացած բռնություն:
Դիտարկմանը, թե Ադրբեջանը թույլ չի տալիս մոտենալ խոցված ուղղաթիռին և պարզել անձնակազմի ճակատագիրը, Օմիրուն ընդգծեց, որ նույնիսկ պատերազմի ժամանակ զոհերի նկատմամբ հարգանքը պատմության խորքերից եկած օրենք է: «Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների այդ պահվածքը ես անթույլատրելի եմ համարում»,- ընդգծեց Օմիրուն:
Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի արևելյան հատվածի օդային տարածքում նոյեմբերի 12-ին ժամը 13.45-ի սահմաններում, ուսումնավարժական թռիչքի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-ի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում խոցվել է ԼՂՀ ՌՕՈւ Մի-24 ուղղաթիռը: Հակառակորդը շարունակում է տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զենքերից ինտենսիվ կրակ վարել դեպքի վայրի ուղղությամբ: Անձնակազմի հրամանատարն է եղել մայոր Սերգեյ Սահակյանը: Մյուս երկու զինծառայողներն էին լեյտենանտ Ազատ Սահակյանը և ավագ լեյտենանտ Սարգիս Նազարյանը: Նոյեմբերի 12-ին կատարվածի առնչությամբ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը հաղորդագրություն էր տարածել ու դատապարտել կատարվածը: Եվրամիությունը, դատապարտելով կատարվածը, կոչ է արել միջադեպի մանրամասները պարզելու համար անհապաղ սկսել հետաքննություն և արդյունքները ներկայացնել միջազգային հանրությանը: Հայտարարությամբ հանդես են եկել նաեւ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությունը, տարբեր երկրների արտաքին գործերի նախարարություններ:
