Աշգաբադում աշխատանքն է սկսել ԱՊՀ անդամ-պետությունների կառավարությունների ղեկավարների խորհրդի հերթական նիստը, որին մասնակցում է նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը: Այն իր օրակարգում նաեւ Հայաստանին առնչվող հարցեր ունի: Ինչպես Աշգաբադից փոխանցում է «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակիցը, նիստին ներկա են նաև Թուրքմենստանի նախագահ Գուրբանգուլի Բերդիմուհամեդովը, ՌԴ վարչապետ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը, Բելառուսի կառավարության ղեկավար Միխայիլ Մյասնիկովիչը և ԱՊՀ պետությունների կառավարությունների այլ ղեկավարներ:
Նախ տեղի ունեցավ ԱՊՀ կառավարությունների ղեկավարների նեղ կազմով հանդիպումը, որին հաջորդեց ընդլայնված կազմով նիստը: Թուրքմենստանի նախագահ Գուրբանգուլի Բերդիմուհամեդովը կարևորեց ԱՊՀ տարածքում նոր տնտեսական նախագծերի իրականացումը: «ԱՊՀ այս նիստը լավ հարթակ է մեր երկրների միջև կապերի հետագա խորացման համար: Թուրքմենստանն այժմ Իրանի ու Ղազախստանի հետ կառուցում է տրանսպորտային նոր հանգույց, որին կկարողանան միանալ նաև ԱՊՀ մեր մյուս երկրները՝ Հայաստանը, Ռուսաստանը և այլն: Դա էապես կնպաստի առևտրատնտեսական ծավալների ավելացմանը և նոր ծրագրերի իրականացմանը»,- ասաց Թուրքմենստանի նախագահը: ԱՊՀ երկրների վարչապետերը քննարկեցին և հավանության արժանացրին մի շարք հարցեր :
Մեր երկրին առնչվող կարևորագույն հարցերից մեկը մշակույթի բնագավառն էր: Մասնավորապես, Մ. Մաշտոցի անվան հին ձեռագրերի գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտին շնորհվեց գրավոր ժառանգության պահպանման և վերականգնման բնագավառում բազային կազմակերպության կարգավիճակ: Նման կարգավիճակ շնորհվեց նաև մշակույթի և արվեստի (գրավոր ժառանգության պահպանում և վերականգնում, թանգարանային գործ, մշակութային ժառանգություն, կինո, թատրոն) ոլորտներում գործող ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների մի շարք այլ կազմակերպությունների, ինչը կնպաստ ի ԱՊՀ երկրների միջև հումանիտար համագործակցության ընդլայնմանը և բարձր որակավորում ունեցող վերապատրաստմանը:
Նիստում ստորագրվեց ԱՊՀ երկրների տարածքում ապրանքների ազատ տեղաշարժի ապահովմանն առնչվող ««Անկախ պետությունների համագործակցությունում ապրանքների ծագման երկրի որոշման կանոնների մասին» 2009 թվականի նոյեմբերի 20-ի համաձայնագրում փոփոխություններ կատարելու մասին» արձանագրությունը, որը պայմանավորված է ԱՊՀ երկրների միջև ձևավորված ազատ առևտրի ռեժիմը պատշաճ և արդյունավետ կիրառելու անհրաժեշտությամբ:
Քննարկվեց նաև մինչև 2015թ. ընկած ժամանակահատվածում ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետություններում պատերազմների վետերանների, տեղային հակամարտությունների մասնակիցների և նրանց ընտանիքների անդամների բժշկասոցիալական աջակցության հետագա զարգացման և կյանքի որակի բարելավման հիմնական ուղղությունների կատարումն ապահովող միջոցառումների ծրագրի իրականացման ընթացքը, ԱՊՀ պետությունների հակաօդային պաշտպանության միացյալ համակարգի ստեղծման և զարգացման համար 2015 թվականին միջոցների հատկացումներին վերաբերող հարցը:
ԱՊՀ կառավարությունների ղեկավարների հաջորդ նիստը կկայանա 2015 թվականի մայիսի 29-ին՝ Աստանայում: ԱՊՀ համանախագահությունը Բելառուսից փոխանցվեց Ղազախստանին:
