Ադրբեջանը չի ցանկանում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը լուծել դիվանագիտական ճանապարհով, ինչի ապացույցն ուղղաթիռի միջադեպն է: Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտարարել է ադրբեջանցի քաղաքագետ Զարդուշտ Ալիզադեն' «Էխո Կավկազա» ռադիոկայանին տված հարցազրույցում:
Ալիզադեն միանգամայն անիմաստ է համարել ադրբեջանական կողմից խոցված ԼՂՀ ռազմաօդային ուժերին պատկանող ուղղաթիռի անձնակազմի զոհված անդամների մարմինները տարհանելու գծով հայկական կողմի անցկացրած հատուկ գործողության ճշմարտացիությունն Ադրբեջանում «կասկածի» ենթարկելուն ուղղված քարոզչությունը: «Լավ է, որ վերցրել են աճյունները, որովհետև մարդիկ զոհվել են, և նրանց արժանավայել կերպով, մեծարանքներով հուղարկավորել են»,- ասել է նա:
Զոհված օդաչուների մարմինները տարհանելու հայկական կողմի հատուկ գործողության վերաբերյալ ադրբեջանական կողմի «կասկածները» Ալիզադեն բացատրել է այն բանով, որ տարածաշրջանում «ոչ ոք ոչ մեկին չի կարողանում ինչ որ բան ապացուցել»: Ադրբեջանցի քաղաքագետը դրանում մեղադրել է իշխանություններին: Նա նաև շեշտել է, որ հոռետեսորեն է տրամադրված հակամարտության լուծման հարցում:
Նույն ռադիոկայանին տված հարցազրույցում Քաղաքական և միջազգային հետազոտությունների հայկական կենտրոնի փորձագետ Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը, ի հակառակ Ալիզադեի, հույս է հայտնել, որ ԼՂ հակամարտության լուծումը «սարերի հետևում» չէ և «հրանոթների փոխարեն խոսելու են դիվանագետները»:
Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ ներկայում ոչ ադրբեջանական իշխանությունները, ոչ էլ Ռուսաստանը շահագրգռված չեն հակամարտության լուծմամբ, ինչի ապացույցը, նրա կարծիքով, այն է, որ միջադեպից հետո անցած 10 օրում և՛ հայկական, և՛ միջազգային դիվանագիտությունն անզոր եղան լուծել հարցը' ադրբեջանական կողմի համառորեն լուծել չցանկանալու պատճառով:
Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի արևելյան հատվածի օդային տարածքում նոյհեմբերի 12-ին' ժամը 13:45-ի սահմաններում, ուսումնավարժական թռիչքի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական ԶՈւ-ի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում խոցվել է ԼՂՀ ՌՕՈւ ՄԻ-24 ուղղաթիռը, որը ռազմական գործողությունների համար չի եղել, ուղղաթիռում չի եղել զինամթերք, և ադրբեջանական օդուժն այն խոցել է թիկունքից:
