Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Տրայան Հրիսթեայի հետ: Կարևորելով քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման տարբեր ոլորտներում Եվրոպական միության հետ համագործակցության ընդլայնումը՝ քաղաքապետը նշել է, որ միջազգային կառույցներից բացի, վեջին տարիներին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը լուրջ քայլեր է ձեռնարկում նաև եվրոպական պետությունների մայրաքաղաքների ու քաղաքների հետ երկկողմ համագործակցության շարունակական խորացման և ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ:
«Մենք այսօր համագործակցում ենք աշխարհի ավելի քան 40 քաղաքների հետ և անդամակցում միջազգային ու տարածաշրջանային 8 կազմակերպությունների` ստեղծելով պայմանագրային ծավալուն դաշտ և իրականացնելով համատեղ ծրագրեր։ Մենք մեծապես կարևորում ենք տարբեր ուղղություններով և ոլորտներում համագործակցության խորացումը նաև Եվրոպական միության հետ և պետք է նշեմ, պարոն դեսպան, որ Ձեր անմիջական աջակցությամբ մեր համատեղ ծրագրերն իսկապես արդյունավետ ու հաջողված են դառնում»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետը։
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Տրայան Հրիսթեան իր հերթին նկատել է, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանն իսկապես վստահելի գործընկեր է և նշել, որ միությունը ևս պատրաստակամ է քաղաքապետարանի հետ փոխգործակցության ընդլայնման հարցում:
«Ձեր պատրաստակամության ու քաղաքապետարանի նման վստահելի գործընկեր ունենալու հարցում մենք բազմիցս ենք համոզվել, ինչի արդյունքներն արտացոլված են մեր համատեղ ծրագրերում, որոնք իսկապես հաջողությամբ են կյանքի կոչվել: Վստահ եմ, պարոն քաղաքապետ, որ մենք առաջիկայում կընդլայնենք մեր համագործակցության շրջանակներն ու փոխգործակցության նոր ոլորտներ կընդգրկենք»,- նշել է Տրայան Հրիսթեան:
Հանդիպման շրջանակում քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Տրայան Հրիսթեային է փոխանցել Եվրոպական միության «Քաղաքապետերի դաշնագիր» նախաձեռնությանը Երևան քաղաքի միանալու ստորագրված ձևաթուղթը:
«Երևանի էկոլոգիական խնդիրների կարգավորումը ևս որպես առաջնահերթություն է դիտարկվում մեր կողմից, և այս դաշնագրին միանալով, վստահ եմ, որ մենք լուրջ հաջողություններ կունենանք նաև այդ հարցում: Բացի այդ, նաև համոզված եմ, որ Երևանը դաշնագրին մասնակից քաղաքների հետ միասին իր ուրույն դերակատարումը կունենա բնապահպանական միջազգային խնդիրների հաղթահարման և լուծման գործում»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետը ։
Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավարը ևս համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ Երևանը իրոք կարող է լուրջ դեր ունենալ Եվրոպական միության «Քաղաքապետերի դաշնագրի» շրջանակում:
«Շնորհավորում եմ Ձեզ, պարոն քաղաքապետ, նախաձեռնությանը միանալու համար: Սա իսկապես կարևոր քայլ էր Երևանի համար: Դուք, ըստ էության, միացաք Ձեր շուրջ 5000 կոլեգաներին, որոնք ներկայացնում են ոչ միայն Եվրոպական միությունը, այլև միության հարևան երկրները և ունեն համանման խնդիրներ: Եվ հաշվի առնելով տարբեր ուղղություններով մեր համագործակցության արդյունավետությունը՝ վստահ եմ, որ այս դեպքում ևս Երևանն առաջատար դեր կունենա համաձայնագրի կետերի կյանքի կոչման հարցում»,- ընդգծել է Տրայան Հրիսթեան:
