Շիրակի մարզի Գտաշեն համայնքի բնակիչ Արմեն Է.-ն հայտնաբերել է անձի, ով հետաքրքրվում էր, թե ինչպես է հնարավոր հատել հայ-թուրքական սահմանը: Այս մասին նոյեմբերի 27-ին «Արմենպրես»-ը տեղեկացավ Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի սահմանապահ վարչության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի ծառայությունից:
Հաղորդակցության մեջ բարձր է գնահատվում տեղի բնակչության Կամավորական ազգային ջոկատների անդամների ակտիվ համագործակցությունը: Նշվում է, որ նոյեմբերի 24-ի լույս 25-ի գիշերը Գտաշեն համայնքի բնակիչը սահմանախախտում կատարելու ցանկություն ունեցող անձի վերաբերյալ ոչ միայն տեղեկացրել է սահմանապահներին, այլ նաև փորձ ձեռնարկեց վերջինիս կանգնեցնել:
Լենինականի սահմանապահ ջոկատը, ի պատասխան ահազանգի, հաշված րոպեների ընթացքում փակել է սահմանի տվյալ հատվածը: Արմեն Է.-ն դիմել է համագյուղացիների օգնությանը, և հաջողվել է կանգնեցնել անհայտ անձին տագնապի համակարգից 200 մ հեռավորության վրա:
Ստուգումների արդյունքում հաջողվել է պարզել անհատ անձի իսկությունը: Նա Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության 1976-ին ծնված քաղաքացի է, ով փորձում էր, հատելով սահմանը, անցնել Թուրքիա: Ձերբակալվածը պատճառաբանեց իր օրինախախտ նպատակները անձնական խնդիրներով:
Նույն օրը կալանավորվածին փոխանցել եին ՀՀ ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցներին, ովքեր այնուհետ կբացահայտեն դեպքի մանրամասները:
