Թուրքիան շարունակում է իր ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը, և այն ուղղակի իրականացնում է ավելի ժամանակակից հնարքներով: Նման կարծիք նոյեմբերի 29-ին, «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, հայտնեց թուրքագետ, «Եփրատ» կենտրոնի նախագահ Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը:
«Ցեղասպանության տարելիցին նվիրված լայն զանգվածային միջոցառումներ Թուրքիայում տեղի չեն ունենա, դրա փոխարեն կլինեն փոքր միջոցառումներ, որոնք Թուրքիայում լուրջ փոփոխությունների չի բերի: Նմանատիպ միջոցառումների իրականացմանը Թուրքիան չի խոչընդոտի' հետագայում այս փաստն իր օգտին շահարկելու համար. Անկարան իրեն փորձում է ներկայացնել որպես փոփոխված, ավելի ժողովրդավար, խոսքի ազատության հանդեպ ավելի հանդուրժողական»,- ասաց Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը:
Թուրքագետը մանրամասնեց, որ Թուրքիան դիվանագիտական մակարդակով փորձում է շահարկել ընդհանուր թեզեր, այն է՝ հայերի հետ մեկտեղ Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի տարիներին տուժել են նաև թուրքեր և այլ ազգեր: Մյուս կողմից, Թուրքիան վերջին շրջանում փորձում է շահարկել Խոջալուի դեպքերը՝ մեղադրելով Հայաստանին ցեղասպանության մեջ և սլաքները ուղղել հայերի կողմը: Նաև փորձում է ստեղծել պատրանք Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների վերականգնման վերաբերյալ:
«Սա նույնպես միջազգային ասպարեզում շահարկում է, և երբ այս կամ այն պետությունը փորձում է դաշտ բերել Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցը, Թուրքիան ասում է, որ Հայաստանի հետ գտնվում է հարաբերությունների վերականգնման ուղղու վրա: Բոլոր մակարդակներում Թուրքիան պատրաստվում է ըննդեմ Ցեղասպանության տարելիցի: Դա և Էրդողանի ելույթն էր, և Դավութօղլուի երևանյան այցն էր, ինչպես նաև Էթիեն Մահչուփյանի նշանակումը Թուրքիայի վարչապետի օգնական. այդ բոլոր քայլերը տեղավորում են 2015-ի նախապատրաստական քայլերի տրամաբանության մեջ»,- նկատեց Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը:
«Եփրատ» կենտրոնի նախագահի կարծիքով՝ թվում է, թե թուրքական հասարակության մեջ լուրջ փոփոխություններ են տեղի ունեցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերմունքի առումով, սակայն դրա մասին բաց խոսում է միայն մտավորականության նեղ շրջանակ: Հիմնականում նրանք կամ ազգային փոքրամասնությունների ներկայացուցւչներ են, մտավորականներ, կամ ձախակողմյա հայացքները կիսող անձինք: Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը նշեց, որ ասել, թե Թուրքիայի հասարակության լայն շրջանակներում ընթանում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչում, միայն սխալ կլինի, քանի որ Թուրքիայի հասարակության մի լայն զանգված ունի ընդգծված հակահայկական դիրքորոշում, և դա առավել արտահայտվում է ընտրությունների շրջանում:
