Ոստիկանությունը բացահայտել է վերջին շրջանում Գյումրի քաղաքում կատարված մի շարք ավազակային հարձակումներ: Ավազակային հարձակում կատարելու կասկածանքով, ոստիկանության Կումայրիի բաժին բերման են ենթարկվել Գյումրի քաղաքի բնակիչներ 1979թ. ծնված Արթուր Է.-ն և 1985թ. ծնված Գրիշա Մ.-ն: Գյումրիում և Վանաձորում հայտնաբերվել է հափշտակված իրերի մի մասը: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ոստիկանության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի եւ լրատվության վարչությունից, հանցագործությունները բացահայտելու ուղղությամբ ձեռնարկված միջոցառումների արդյունքում ՀՀ ոստիկանության քրեական հետախուզության գլխավոր վարչությունում և Գյումրի քաղաքի Կումայրիի բաժնում տեղեկություններ են ստացվել, որ հիշյալ ավազակային հարձակումները կատարել են Գյումրի քաղաքի բնակիչներ, 1979թ. ծնված Արթուր Է.-ն և 1985թ. ծնված Գրիշա Մ.-ն, իսկ հափշտակված իրերը թաքցվում են Կարեն Հ.-ի' Վանաձոր քաղաքում գտնվող բնակարանում:
Դեկտեմբերի 4-ին, ավազակային հարձակումներ կատարելու կասկածանքով, ոստիկանության ծառայողները Կումայրիի բաժին բերման են ենթարկել Արթուր Է.-ին և Գրիշա Մ.-ին: Վերջինս խոստովանել է, որ Վարդուշ Թ.-ի, Հայարփի Մ.-ի, Գեղեցիկ Մ.-ի և Մարո Վ.-ի նկատմամբ ավազակային հարձակումերը կատարել է ինքը՝ Արթուր Է.-ի հետ:
Արթուր Է.-ի բնակարանից խուզարկությամբ հայտնաբերվել և առգրավվել է «Samsung GALAXY S5» բջջային հեռախոս, իսկ Կարեն Հ.-ի Վանաձոր քաղաքի բնակարանում 1 նոութբուք և 2 այլ բջջային հեռախոսներ, որոնց վերաբերյալ Գրիշա Մ.-ն հայտարարել է, որ ինքն է տվել հափշտակված իրերը Կարեն Հ.-ին' հետագայում վաճառելու նպատակով:

Օգոստոսի 8-ին' ժամը 2.15-ի սահմաններում, երկու անհայտ անձինք, նախնական համաձայնությամբ ուրիշի գույքը հափշտակելու նպատակով, ապօրինի մուտք են գործել Շիրակի մարզի Ոսկեհատ գյուղի տներից մեկը, դանակի և ատրճանակի սպառնալիքով տանտիրուհու' Գեղեցիկ Մ.-ի կյանքի և առողջության համար վտանգավոր բռնություն գործադրելով, վերջինիս բերանը և ձեռքերը կապելով' հափշտակել են առանձնապես խոշոր չափերի մոտ 4 000 000 դրամ ընդհանուր արժողությամբ ոսկյա զարդեր և 3000 դոլար գումար ու դիմել փախուստի:
Սեպտեմբերի 13-ին' ժամը 3.00-ի սահմաններում, դիմակավորված երկու անհայտ անձինք, Շիրակի մարզի Ախուրիկ գյուղի բնակչուհի Մարո Վ.-ի գույքն ավազակությամբ հափշտակելու դիտավորությամբ հարձակում կատարելով, ապօրինի մուտք են գործել վերջինիս տուն, նրա կյանքի և առողջության համար վտանգավոր բռնություն գործադրելով' գարեջրի ապակյա տարայով ու բռունցքներով բազմակի հարվածներ են հասցրել դեմքին, սավանի կտորով փակել Մարո Վ. -ի և նրա դստեր բերանը, ձեռքերն ու ոտքերը ու իրենց մոտ եղած դանակներով նրանց նկատմամբ բռնություն գործադրելով, դստերը բռնաբարելու սպառնալիքով հափշտակել են խոշոր չափերի' մոտ 2 700 000 դրամ ընդհանուր արժողությամբ ոսկյա զարդեր, նոութբուք, պլանշետ, 3 բջջային հեռախոս, 80 000 դրամ գումար և հեռացել:
Նոյեմբերի 24-ին' ժամը 3.30-ի սահմաններում, դիմակավորված երկու անհայտ անձինք, հարձակում կատարելով, ապօրինի մուտք են գործել Գյումրի քաղաքում գտնվող, Հայարփի Մ.-ին պատկանող տնակ և նրա ու անչափահաս որդու կյանքի և առողջության համար վտանգավոր բռնություն գործադրելով' բենզին են լցրել Հայարփի Մ.-ի դեմքին, կպչուն ժապավենով ու պարանով կապել են նրա ու որդու բերանը, ձեռքերը, դանակով վնասել են երեխայի ձեռքը, ապա տնակից հափշտակել են 2 409 000 դրամի գույք, դրամապանակ, համակարգիչ, 3 բջջային հեռախոս ու դիմել փախուստի:
Նոյեմբերի 22-ին' ժամը 3.30-ի սահմաններում, դիմակավորված երկու քաղաքացի, դուռը կոտրելով, մտել են Գյումրի քաղաքում գտնվող, Վարդուշ Թ.-ին պատկանող տնակ , դանակի սպառնալիքով ծեծի ենթարկել նրան' պահանջելով դրամ և ոսկի, ինչից հետո պարանով կապել, գցել են մահճակալին և տնակից հափշտակել 3 բջջային հեռախոս, նոութբուք ու 10 000 դրամ:
