Ադրբեջանական կողմը հերթական ապաշնորհ քայլն է կատարել և խեղաթյուրել ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի խոսքը: Այս անգամ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները Լավրովի խոսքում ավելացրել են հատվածներ այն առնչությամբ, թե իբր Քարվաճառում ձերբակալված երկու դիվերսանտները ՌԴ քաղաքացիներ են և պաշտոնական Մոսկվան ցանկանում է, որ նրանք անհապաղ ետ վերադարձվեն կամ փոխանակվեն: Իրականու մ, Լավրովն այլ բան է ասել: Բազելում խոսելով ԼՂ հակամարտության մասին' Լավրովն, առանց կոնկրետության և որևէ մեկին նշելու, շեշտել է, որ պատանդների հարցը շատ լուրջ է և նրանք պետք է ազատ արձակվեն կամ փոխանակվեն:
ԼՂՀ Նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանն «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում խոստովանում է, որ արդեն չի զարմանում ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների աշխատանքի վրա: Առաջին դեպքը չէ, որ Ստեփանակերտում ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների նյութերը մի քանի տասնակ անգամ տարբեր աղբյուրներով ստուգում են, քանի որ գիտեն' հարևան պետության ներկայացուցիչները կգրեն այնպես, ինչպես իրենք են ցանկանում կամ մտածում: Նույնը եղել է Սերգեյ Լավրովի պատասխանի դեպքում: Այս առնչությամբ Բաբայանն անգամ անհեթեթ է համարում ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների աշխատանքը մեկնաբանելը:
«Ինչ վերաբերում է Քարվաճառում ձերբակալված դիվերսանտներին, ապա նրանք մեղադրվում են ծանր հանցագործություններ կատարելու մեջ: Պետք է սպասել դատավճռին, և միայն այդ ժամանակ պարզ կդառնա' նրանք հանցագո՞րծ են, թե' ոչ: Ամեն դեպքում, մենք հաստատակամ ենք, որ դատավարություն պետք է լինի: Ուզում եմ ևս մեկ անգամ հիշեցնել, որ նրանք ռազմագերիներ չեն: Մենք համաձայն ենք Լավրովի հետ այն հարցում, որ գերիները պետք է վերադարձվեն և, որպես քաղաքակիրթ պետություն, մենք հետևում ենք այդ կանոններին, ինչը չի անում հակառակ կողմը: Այն սրբապղծում է, խափանում բոլոր գործընթացները, խախտում նորմերը: Հիշո՞ւմ եք ուղղաթիռի դեպքը: Իսկ Կարեն Պետրոսյանի պատմությո՞ւնը»,- ընդգծեց Բաբայանը:
Սա առաջին դեպքը չէ, երբ Ադրբեջանը փորձում է ադրբեջանցի դիվերսանտներին ներկայացնել որպես ռուսաստանցիներ' փորձելով այդ կերպ լուծում գտնել հանցագործներին հետ վերադարձնելու հարցում: Մինչդեռ, դեռևս հուլիսին, երբ ադրբեջանական կողմը նոր էր տարածում այդ թեզը, Ադրբեջանում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության դեսպան Վլադիմիր Դորոխինը հայտարարել է, որ Քարվաճառում ձերբակալվածների մեջ ՌԴ քաղաքացիներ չկան: Ադրբեջանի խորհրդարանի փոխխոսնակ Բահար Մուրադովին հղած նամակում դեսպանը հայտնել է. «Պաշտոնապես հայտարարում եմ, որ Քառվաճառում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպի ժամանակ ձերբակալվածների մեջ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության քաղաքացիներ չկան»,- գրել է Դորոխինը:
Քարվաճառում հուլիսի 14-ի ժամը 13:00-ի դրությամբ, ավարտվել է ՊԲ հատուկ նշանակության ստորաբաժանումների կողմից իրականացվող գործողությունն ադրբեջանական դիվերսիոն-հետախուզական խմբի վնասազերծման ուղղությամբ: Արդյունքում խմբի բոլոր անդամները գերեվարվել կամ ոչնչացվել են հայկական ուժերի կողմից: ՀՀ ՊՆ-ն հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է միջազգային կառույցներին տրամադրել Քարվաճառում ադրբեջանական դիվերսիոն փորձի ապացույցները: ԼՂՀ և ՀՀ պետական սահմանահատվածում (Քարվաճառի ուղղություն) հակառակորդը ձեռնարկել է հերթական հետախուզադիվերսիոն ներթափանցման փորձը: Խմբի չեզոքացման ժամանակ հայ զինծառայողները ոչնչացրել են մեկ դիվերսանտի: Փոխհրաձգության ժամանակ զոհվել է հայ սպա' 1972թվականին ծնված մայոր Սարգիս Աբրահամյանը, վիրավորվել է 1977 թվականին ծնված Կարինե Դավթյանը: ԼՂՀ դատախազությունը մեղադրանքներ է առաջադրել հուլիսի 14-ին Քարվաճառ ներթափանցած ադրբեջանական հետախուզադիվերսիոն խմբի ձերբակալված անդամներին: Դատավարությունը շարունակվում է:
