ՌԴ հյուսիսային մայրաքաղաքում պաշտոնական այցով գտնվող Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Սմոլնիում հանդիպել է Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի նահանգապետ Գեորգի Պոլտավչենկոյի հետ: Ողջունելով Երևանի քաղաքապետին և պաշտոնական պատվիրակության անդամներին` Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի նահանգապետը նկատել է, որ երկուստեք իրականացվող ծրագրերի և փոխգործակցության արդյունավետությունը վկայում է համագործակցության բարձր մակարդակի մասին:
«Երևանը ՌԴ հյուսիսային մայրաքաղաքի համար կայուն և վստահելի գործընկեր է, և մենք կարևորում ենք Երևանի հետ փոխգործակցության ընդլայնումը: Վստահեցնում եմ, որ Երևանը մեզ համար հարազատ է ոչ միայն որպես բարեկամ, այլ նաև որպես գործընկեր քաղաք, և մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում կառուցողական գործընկերային այն մթնոլորտը, որն առկա է մեր հարաբերություններում: Առանձնակի կարևոր ու ողջունելի է նաև, որ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի և Երևանի բարեկամական կապերի համատեքստում մեծ կշիռ ունի մշակութային բաղադրիչը, ինչն անշուշտ կարևոր է մշակութային հարուստ ժառանգություն ու ավանդույթներ ունեցող քաղաքների համար», - ընդգծել է Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի նահանգապետը:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը բարձր է գնահատել երկկողմ հարաբերությունների ամրապնդմանն ու ընդլայնմանն ուղղված՝ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի կառավարության ջանքերը՝ մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծելով, որ Երևանը բաց և պատրաստակամ է քննարկելու փոխշահավետ համագործակցության զարգացմանն ու ընդլայնմանն ուղղված առաջարկները և նախաձեռնությունները: Ըստ այդմ, քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն առաջարկել է նախապատրաստել և հաջորդ տարի ստորագրել հնգամյա համագործակցության ծրագիր:
«Երևանի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի փոխգործակցությունն այսօր զարգանում է 2011-2014թթ. համագործակցության ծրագրի շրջանակում և, հաշվի առնելով, որ աշխատանքային խմբերի համագործակցված աշխատանքն անցած ժամանակահատվածում իսկապես եղել է նկատելի ու արդյունավետ, և այս տարի, ըստ էության, լրանում է եռամյա համագործակցության համաձայնագրի ժամկետը, առաջարկում եմ, այն թարմացնենք և արդեն հաջորդ համաձայնագիրը ստորագրենք հնգամյա ժամկետով: Իմ կողմից արդեն իսկ հանձնարարվել է համապատասխան օղակների պատասխանատուներին՝ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի գործընկերների հետ քննարկել և նախապատրաստել նոր համաձայնագրի նախագիծը: Ես համոզված եմ, որ համագործակցության շարունակականության շնորհիվ ևս կգրանցենք նշանակալի արդյունքներ»,- ընդգծել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը և Գեորգի Պոլտավչենկոյին հրավիրել է պաշտոնական այցով հյուրընկալվելու Երևանում:
Առանձնակի կարևորելով Երևանի քաղաքապետի պատրաստակամությունն ու շնորհակալություն հայտնելով հրավերի համար՝ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի նահանգապետը նշել է, որ իրենց կողմից ևս արդեն իսկ աշխատանքներ տարվում են նոր համաձայնագրի նախապատրաստման ուղղությամբ, և վստահեցրել է, որ 2015թ.-ի ապրիլին Հայոց Մեծ եղեռնի 100-ամյա տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու նպատակով Երևանում գտնվելու ժամանակ էլ կստորագրվի հնգամյա համագործակցության համաձայնագիրը:
Հանդիպման շրջանակում համագործակցության հետագա ծրագրերում կողմերն առանձնակի կարևորել են նաև երիտասարդական փոխանակումները, զբոսաշրջության զարգացմանն ու ներդրումային ծրագրերի իրականացմանն ուղղված աշխատանքները:
