Ադրբեջանն ամբողջ աշխարհին դարձյալ ներկայացրեց իր «առողջ դատողությունից զուրկ» տեղական իրավագիտության «գոհարները», որպեսզի դատի իշխանությունների համար ոչ ցանկալի մարդուն: Նման հայտարարությամբ, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը' վկայակոչելով «Թուրան» լրատվական գործակալությունը, հանդես է եկել Ադրբեջանի ժողովրդական գրող Չինգիզ Հուսեյնովը' անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանում երկու օր առաջ «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայության աշխատակլից Խադիջա Իսմայիլովայի ձերբակալությանը:
«Դա Խադիջա Իսմայիլովայի նկատմամբ ադրբեջանական իրավագիտության թույլ տված անամոթությունն է: Այդ ձերբակալութունը առողջ դատողությունից միանագամայն զուրկ ստեղծագործական երեւակայության արդյունք է: Ահա նոր իրավաբանական անամոթություն. երկար ժամանակ հետամտել են Իսմայիլովային եւ վերջապես գտել: Նրան մեղադրում են մի մարդու ինքնասպանության հասցնելու մեջ, ով ողջ-առողջ է: Այդպես կարելի է նստեցնել յուրաքանչյուր մարդու: Սա տգետ եւ մատնության հոտ արձակող դասական իրավազրկություն է», -ասել է նա:
Անդրադառնալով Խադիջա Իսմայլիովայի ձերբակալությանը' ադրբեջանցի հայտնի գրող Աքրամ Այլիսլին ասել է. «Նման ձերբակալությունը ցուցյ է տալիս, որ Ադրբեջանում դատական համակարգն անդեմ է: Ծիծաղելի է նման մեղադրանքով մարդու ձերբակալությունը: Բոլորը գիտեն, որ Խադիջա Իսմայլիովային ձերբակալել են նրա լրագրողական գործունեության համար»:
Խադիջա Իսմայիլովան Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների թիրախ է դարձել իր լրագրողական գործունեության համար: Իսմայիլովան Ադրբեջանում իշխանության վերին էշելոններում կոռուպցիոն փաստերի լրագրողական հետաքննությունների հեղինակ է, որոնց արդյունքում բացահայտվել է նաեւ Ադրբեջանի Նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի եւ նրա ընտանիքի օֆշորյան գոտիներում ունեցած հարյուրավոր միլիոն դոլարիների հասնող ունեցվածքը: Վերջին տարիներին նա թոք-շոու է վարում «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայությունում:
Ընթացիկ տարվա հոկտեմբերի 21-ին 29-ամյա Թուրալ Մուստաֆաեւը Բաքվի մերձծովյա զբոսայգում մկնդեղ է խմել: Նա ծանր վիճակում տարվել է հիվանդանոց: Մուստաֆաեւը իրավապահներին հայտարարել է, որ իրեն ինքնասպանության դիմելու վիճակի հասցրել է Իսմայիլովան:
Իսմայիլովայի ծանոթների խոսքով' Մուստաֆաեւը հետաքննությանը ցուցմունք է տվել, որ Իսմայիլովան իրեն ազատել է «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայությունում աշխատանքից: Սակայն, Իսմայիլովան «Ազատության» Բաքվի գրասենյակը ղեկավարել է 2008-2010 թվականներին, իսկ դրանից հետո եղել է միայն ծրագրի հաղորդավար:
Ադրբեջանում Խադիջա Իսմայիլովայի ձերբակալությունը դատապարտել են ԵԱՀԿ մամուլի ազատության գծով ներկայացուցիչ Դունյա Միյատովիչը, «Լրագրողներն առանց սահմանների», Index on Censorship կազմակերպությունները, «Մարդու իրավունքների տուն» հիմնադրամը, «Ազատ Եվրոպա» «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանների կորպորացիաների գլխավոր տնօրեն Նենադ Պեջիկը, ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարության խոսնակ Մարի Հարֆը, ԱՄՆ-ի հրատարակչական խորհուրդը, ԵԱՀԿ-ում ԱՄՆ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Դենիել Բայերը, Ադրբեջանի «Մուսավաթ», «Ումիդ», Ժողովրդական ճակատ կուսակցությունները:
