Այսօր` Սուրբ Ստեփանոս նախասարկավագ և առաջին մարտիրոսի տոնին, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում, հանդիսապետությամբ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, մատուցվել է սուրբ և անմահ Պատարագ, որի ընթացքում կատարվել է նաև սարկավագական ձեռնադրություն: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգը:
Նախորդ օրը` երեկոյան ժամերգության ընթացքում, տեղի է ունեցել կիսասարկավագության և դպրության տվչության արարողություն: Դպրության աստիճան ստացան Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանի տասներկու և Քահանայից պատրաստության լսարանի երեք ուսանողներ:
Տոնի առիթով Մայր Աթոռ Ս. Էջմիածնում օրհնությամբ Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետի Մայր Աթոռի լուսարարապետ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Հովնան եպիսկոպոս Հակոբյանի ձեռամբ սարկավագական ձեռնադրության արժանացել են Գևորգյան Հոգևոր ճեմարանի քսան սաներ, ինչպես նաև մեկական սպասավոր` Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմից և Գեղարդավանքից:
Ձեռնադրությունից հետո Սրբազան Հայրը հավատավոր ժողովրդին ներկայացրել է տոնի խորհուրդն ու Ս. Ստեփանոսի նահատակության պատմությունը:
Սրբազանն այս առիթով շնորհավորել է նաև իր անդրանիկ ձեռնադրյալներին և Հայ Եկեղեցու ողջ սարկավագաց դասին: Այնուհետև անդրադառնալով սարկավագական կոչմանն ու ծառայությանը` Հովնան Սրբազանը մասնավորաբար նշել է. «…Հոգևոր աստիճանը փառքի, ինչքեր կուտակելու, հպարտության աստիճան չէ, այլ` խոնարհության, ծառայության և նվիրումի: Սարկավագական աստիճանն ընկալվում է ոչ միայն քարոզչություն անելու, Սուրբ Սեղանին ծառայություն բերելու առումով, այլ նաև` ժողովրդի մեջ առաքելական շնորհը փոխանցելու, դիակոնիա անելու, ծառայություն մատուցելու, անհավատներին դեպի Եկեղեցի բերելու, փոքրերին Աստծու Ս. Տաճարը առաջնորդելու, հիվանդներին, հաշմվածներին, բանտարկյալներին, տարեցներին այցելելու համար, ինչպես նաև` ծառայություն մատուցելու այն բոլոր անձանց, ովքեր ունեն Աստծո խոսքի կարոտը»:
Մայր Աթոռի լուսարարապետը սարկավագներին հորդորել է այս գիտակցությամբ նվիրյալ ծառայության ուխտ անել և իրենց կյանքը բոլորանվեր կերպով ի սպաս դնել Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցուն` մաղթելով նրանց կյանքի քաջառողջ օրեր և հոգևոր ծառայության երկար ուղի:
Իր խոսքում Հովնան Սրբազանը նաև իր որդիական երախտագիտությունը հայտնել է Գարեգին Բ Հայրապետին` Հայ Եկեղեցուն նոր սպասավորներ պարգևելու այս գեղեցիկ բարեպատեհ առիթն իրեն ընծայելու համար:
Ս. Պատարագի ավարտին եկեղեցականաց դասը և ներկա ժողովուրդը հնարավորություն են ունեցել համբուրելու տոնի կապակցությամբ Մայր Տաճարի ավանդատուն-թանգարանից հանված Ս. Ստեփանոսի մասունքով Աջը և ստանալու նրանից ճառագող օրհնությունը:
Նույն օրը Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունել է Մայր Աթոռի սարկավագներին ու նորընծաներին` ուղեկցությամբ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի լուսարարապետի:
Այս առիթով սարկավագաց դասը երգել է «Ստեփանոս, քաղցրիկ տատրակ» շարականը, ապա Նորին Սրբությունը, Ս. Ստեփանոսի տոնի կապակցությամբ շնորհավորելով սարկավագներին, Իր հայրապետական պատգամը փոխանցել ամենքին: Հայոց Հովվապետը հորդորել է սարկավագներին անհողդողդ մնալ իրենց հավատքի մեջ և շարունակել իրենց բերած օգտակար եկեղեցանվեր սպասավորությունը` աչքի առջև մշտապես ունենալով Ս. Ստեփանոսի աստվածահաճո կերպարը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին Նորին Սրբությունը «Պահպանիչ» աղոթքով օրհնել է սարկավագաց դասին:
Այսօր Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածինն ունի 162 սարկավագներ, որոնցից 121-ը` միաբանության շարքերում, իսկ 41-ը` Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանում:
