Պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայության մեկնեց գյումրեցի նորակոչիկների այս տարվա առաջին խումբը: Տղաներին բարձր տարմադրությամբ ճանապարհելու համար հուվարի 8-ին առաջին անգամ Գյումրու զինկոմիսարիատի նախաձեռնությամբ նորակոչիկները կենտրոնական հավաքակայան մեկնեցին «Մայր Հայաստան» հուշահամալիրի տարածքից՝ երգ ու պարով: Խաղաղ ու անփորձանք ծառայություն մաղթելու համար հուշահամալիրի տարածքում էին նաև մարզային ու քաղաքային իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչները, իսկ մինչ մեկնումը տղաները Գյումրու զինկոմիսարիատում անցան բժշկական վերջին բուժզննումը:
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, Գյումրիում զորակոչի նախապատրաստական աշատանքները կատարվել են նորմալ ու ընթանում են բնականոն: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց Գյումրու զինկոմիսար գնդապետ Գագիկ Խաչատրյանը: Գյումրիում վերջին տվյալները ցույց են տալիս, որ նվազում է այլընտրանքային ծառայության դիմողների թիվը: «Եթե անցած տարի ունեցել ենք այլընտրանքային ծառայության դիմած 4 երիտասարդ, ապա այս տարի 2-ը: Գնալով այս ցուցանիշը նվազում է: Ունենք նաև շատ երիտասարդներ, ովքեր ցանկություն են հայտնում ծառա յության մեկնելու, բայց առողջական ինչ-որ խնդիրների պատճառով իրենց տրվել են տարեկետումներ: Ինձ թվում է՝ գնալով այսօր զորակոչի պայմանների, կարգի ու պահանջների համապատասխան տղաների մոտ մեծանում է ծառայության գնալու ցանկությունը»,-նշեց Գյումրու զինկոմիսարն՝ ավելացնելով, որ անցած տարի Գյումրու զինկոմիսարիատն ամբողջովին կատարել է իր առջև դրված խնդիրները, իսկ այս ընթացքում կատարվել են բոլոր աշխատանքները՝ թերությունները գտնելու ու շտկելու ուղղությամբ:
